Armaan’s POV

7:30 in morning.

"Kalakar ji, The only thing you can do is-" She tried to continue but I made her stop.

"What are you talking about?" I asked her.

"Are you planning that you are gonna stay here for forever?  Don't you remember I told you that I would find a solution to your problem...I've find it now." She said with a really confident look.

"Wow, Really?" I asked curiously.

"You have to paint a portrait of me." She said went into another room
.

Whatever she said made me think maybe she was right. Maybe whatever she said make sense. I simply nodded as she came.

She used to stand still patiently and tried, tried hard towards perfection. The first sketch wasn't much impressive but she used to motivate me daily to do better and I did.

I started loving the feeling of being here. She was mysterious but beautiful and kind. She cared for me like no one else. At one movement, I felt like there was nothing negative in her but I knew she was hiding something. And the reason for keeping it a secret must be that it wouldn't be something pleasant to hear.

One month passed and I finally completed the painting. I woke up in the usual time. I went to living room and saw my bag was all packed up.

"So you are leaving today ...right?Natasha said putting breakfast on the dinning table.

"Yeah thanks for packing up everything but yet I haven't talked to you about something important." I said.

"Well....about what?" she asked.

"I will come back here if they accept or maybe even if they don't."

"Okay but first you have to go."

"I'm serious because then you will be the reason behind my success."

"I think you are simply wasting time. Eat dinner and leave. You will miss the bus."

"Okay."

I followed her as she guided me to the way to bus stop. I boarded the bus and waved her a good bye through the window . She gave a timid smile. I looked in front and she wasn't there when I turned back. She was a fast walker..Maybe?

I felt sleepy and drowsy. I didn't realise that I slept until a passenger shack my shoulder to say that it was the last stop and it yes was my destination, Jammu.

I had few money left and I decided to rent a cheap hotel to stay near the bus stop. I wanted to meet Yash. I lost my phone there so I knew this wasn't going to happen. And I didn't thought about this too. I decided to shower so I will feel fresh and started looking through the bag and then I found my phone. Ohh s***! I searched for it in bag and the house, near the house and couldn't find it and suddenly I got it. Magic exists in a bad way!

But If I think about it, it made sense . If I had my phone will me, I would be of no use literally. If I called someone. There was a good chance of them informing my family. If I used any of my social media accounts, they would be able to track me. I knew my family didn't care but Didi. Her drama is unbearable. She tried to act so good outside but I knew she was worse inside. But what was bugging me was where was my mobile all this time.

This wasn't time of thinking that I called Yash. My talktime recharge didn't expire yet.

"Hey...Armaan! Oh my god! Is it you!?" Yash literally shouted , probably about he couldn't control his emotions and curiousity.

"Yes it is me. I have a lot to tell you. But first tell me why did you tell me to meet at forest that day? You weren't' picking up the phone after that." I said

"Seriously...what are you talking about? The last time I remember talking to you was 10 days before you were missing."

"Yash.. you are turning this quite creepy. Who was I talking with then ?  are you okay?"

"I'm completely alright but I think we should meet. Message me where you are staying, I 'm coming right away."

I messaged him and he arrived in 20 minutes. I described the whole situation.

" All these is impossible to be honest."

"But it happened. Believe me I'm not lieing!"

"Okay..see this painting closely. Doesn't it memorise you about someone?"

"Uhh- yes. As much as I remember you showed me your ex girlfriend's picture. S- Shruti, Right? But alot different I guess, Clothing styles and expressions.."

"This also seems a big mystery to me. How do this two girls look so much similar? and Yash, I think there is really something big to be known."

"But the main thing is that You wanted to become an Artist. And that's all you need to focus on in your life."

I went to the company whom I went before but was rejected. The owner owns a big gallery. They told me to sit and wait. I waited. Finally he came. I showed him the paintings. He looked at it for a few minutes. My heart was beating faster with the fear of being rejection again.

"Wow this is ... this is just a masterpiece! It's so beautiful. It looks how much hardwork and dedicated you had to make it!" His words echoed in my ears. I couldn't believed what I was hearing.

"Seriously?" I asked to confirm if it was just fast praise.

"No Man! I ain't lieing. Ask anyone. They will probably comment the same. B-But can I take this?" He said making me get confused about what he was talking about.

"I mean ..... I have came with this painting to give you only. What are you talking about?" I asked.

"Ohh I just thought maybe you just showed me this to give hints about your skills. I will keep it in my gallery. I'm sure my gallery will get famous. I will also pay you good! I can talk to my friend. He needs someone to design his book covers and don't worry. I will fix your career. Remember, the world still needs art." He said and I couldn't help but smiled. I felt so happy. I couldn't express it in words.

"Thank you so much! Can you please do the payment as early as possible because  I'm in need of money." I asked him politely.

"Yes of course! By tonight! Don't worry." He answered.

"Can I ask you something? Its just my curiousity." He asked.

"Yes." I answered because why not.

"Who is this girl? Do you know her?" He asked.

"Umm... I also don't know." I answered. I knew nothing about her literally so what could I answer.

"Ohh well you have good humour too!" He probably thought I was saying its just my imagination indirectly but he didn't knew I was serious.

I went back to hotel. Tanmay helped me by giving some money to get lunch.  I'll get Dinner probably by my own money. I was so happy. I literally started jumping in bed. I couldn't control myself. Freedom was all I was gonna have then.

But then I thought about Natasha. She was the reason behind my happiness. she gave me this idea. I needed to talk with her. I wanna pay for all she did for me . Because I knew,

People who need help never ask for it.
