Erika pov****
I sing along to colt 45 as I get ready, me and Jake are going on a date. I sing as I get ready and I'm baking my face as I scrolled through Twitter and see that Alissa violet tweeted. I read it and  continue on, ignoring drama. Snakes do attract snakes ;)

I finish getting ready and check the time, I make sure my makeup is good and I chill for awhile. Im on my phone and I look at the time and I have 10 minutes until we leave. I quickly pick out an outfit and grab my purse and check everything and head out.

Me and Jake meet at the bottom of the stairs. He smiles and I smile back.

"You look beautiful" he says

"Not too bad yourself" I reply

He let's out a light chuckle and we make our way to the restaurant. It's a nice Italian restraunt. We sit down and were waiting and the waiter comes over.

"Hey! Im trish and ill be your waiter for the night, can i get you both some drinks?" she asks in a perky tone.

"Yes, i'll have a shirley temple please" i tell her. "Okay, and for you sir?" she nods looking over at jake.

"Um, i'll have a cherry coke." he says. "Alright, i'll be right back." she says, walking away.

Me and jake get our drinks and we get our food. We eat and just talk about the simple things.

***at team 10 house***

We walk in the house and the lights our out. I turn the lights on and everyone screams.

" SURPRISE "

I stand there with my mouth hung open. Jake walks over and kisses me. "What is this for?" i ask. "Your back and i wanted to make you feel special and you deserve it bc you've done so much for me and all of us." jake says looking at me and everyone.

"Oh my god, i love you guys." i say hugging them all. We all party and such and after everyone leaves i go to my room and jump in the shower and wash from sweating and having fun i wash all my makeup off and change into a pair of pajamas jakes mom got me as a wedding gift.

Erikas pajamas:

I leave my hair down to air dry and i fluff it with a towel.

Erikas hair:

I put my dress and towel in the dirty hamper. I walk out to the kitchen and start cleaning. I pick up all the solo cups and food and plates and such. I wipe down all the counters with clorox wipes and sweep the floors and mop. I go and look in the sink to see it full of dishes. I run hot water and start scrubbing them.

I load them in to the dish washer and i wipe the counters down and as im rinsing the rag out my favorite song life of the party by shawn mendes comes on, not loud but softly playing in the back ground. I grab a bottle of red wine from the cooler and pour me a glass as im sipping on my wine i feel two arms wrap around my waist

I instantly recognise that its jake. I put my glass down and turn around and wrap my arms around his waist, pulling him into a hug. We sway slowly back and forth until the song ends.

I look up at jake and he's smiling down at me. He leans in and kisses me softly. After a couple of minutes we pull apart and i instantly smile and so does he.

We say goodnight as we head off to bed. He hugs me and kisses my forehead. I walk to my room getting in bed turning of the lights.

***middle of night***

Jakes pov***

I wake up to a loud screaming noise. I jump up and look at the clock. 4:12 am. The screaming is coming from downstairs.

I get up and run down, making sure not to wake anyone. It was coming from erikas room. I rush in and see that shes sweating and screaming and crying. I rush to her side. She's having a night terror. I pick her up and wrap my arms around her.

She wakes up and shes crying. "Its okay baby, its okay." i whisper soothing her we lay there in bed and she falls asleep and i take in her features. God how did i get this lucky? I tell myself in my head. She's perfect.
I soon fall asleep next to her, with my arms still around her, protecting her.
