"Justin, Val! It's time for dinner, come downstairs and wash your hands!" I call out to my 5 and 4 year old children that are currently watching planes upstairs.

"Coming, mommy!" I hear Valerie's tiny voice answer me.

I shake my head as I see both Justin and Val running down the stairs.

"Honey, you have to stop running up and down the stairs, you could fall and get hurt." I tell Justin as I lift him up to the sink so he can wash his hands.

"You too, sweetie." I look down at Valerie.

"Sorry mommy, we won't do it again." Justin gives me a bright smile and I chuckle as I place him down, handing him a towel to dry his tiny hands with.

"Your turn," I lift Valerie up and help her wash her hands.

That's when I hear the front door open and shut and Blake walks in, frowning immediately as soon as he sees me carrying Valerie.

"Didn't the doctor tell you to not carry heavy things while you're this pregnant?" Blake scowls at me and takes Valerie from me, kissing her cheek.

She giggles softly and wraps her arms around Blake's neck, giving him a tight hug.

"I missed you, dad!" She exclaims.

"I missed you too, princess." Blake laughs and puts her back down?

"I've told you so many times, I'm pregnant. I don't have back problems." I roll my eyes and pick up a pile of plates, carrying them to the dining table.

"You will if you continue being this careless." Blake shoots back.

I ignore him and keep walking.

This is just the usual.

"Stop right there and give me those." Blake demands, stepping in front of me.

I narrow my eyes at him before I sigh and continue walking to the dining table.

"Go shower, you can help me then." I answer.

"But-" he starts protesting.

"Go shower first." I cut him off.

"Fine, your majesty." Blake rolls his eyes.

"Good peasant." I tease back and smile widely, knowing I won.

...

We sit around the dinner table with our empty plates in front of us.

We just finished eating and now, we're talking about our days with Justin and Val and how they went.

"So, Justin. What did you do at school today, son?" Blake asks, taking a sip from his glass of water.

"I learnt how to write between the lines on a paper, daddy!" Justin excitedly tells us.

"That's great, sweetie, you learn so fast! What else did you do?" I smile at him.

Justin beams proudly at the compliment and continues telling us about his day.

I'm nodding at what he's saying when he mentions something that catches both Blake and I's attention.

"So me and my friends, Jason- were talking about how our parents met. But I couldn't tell him that daddy had you kidnapped and you got sto-ock-ho-"

"Stockholm syndrome?" I offer with a heavy heart.

"Yes, that. So I just told Jason that you and daddy met at a park and daddy bought you ice cream and then you two got married!" Justin finishes happily.

"Oh, that's lovely honey. But who told you that I had mommy kidnapped?" Blake questions Justin, glancing at me with a knowing look in his eyes.

"He looked just like you, daddy!" Justin says and the taps his tiny chin, thinking.

"Did he give you a name, sweetie?" I ask Justin softly.

"Oh yeah, I remember now!" Justin sits up straighter as he remembers.

"What was it?" I question, practically on the edge of my seat by now.

I already know the answer, I just need confirmation.

"Uncle Logan, mommy."
