I don't know what happened after the incident in the bathroom with Ava, but when I woke up, I was on a couch that was not mine. I sat up, confused and scared. There were pictures on the walls, but most were crooked. There was a fireplace in front of me, and plastic plates and cups were everywhere.

I was still at the party, but everyone had left. Fingers trembling, scared to call out, I got up.

The clock beside the fireplace read 2:49. I sighed in relief, my adoptive dad would not be up for another two hours, so I still had time to get home.

"Hello?" I croaked out. I groaned as my head started to throb, making me place my hand over my forehead. I had a horrible taste in my mouth.

A boy about my height walked out from another room in front of me, almost making me scream. I didn't recognize him, but I assumed this was his house. I stepped back, trying not to make eye contact and make the situation even more awkward.

"I found you passed out on my bathroom floor. I was able to help you onto the couch." I suddenly felt embarrassed. A total stranger had to help me while I was high. My face became hot and I felt sick to my stomach again.

"Sorry," I mumbled. Wait, then where was Ava? She took as much as I did, and what happened to Cameron? I was supposed to be his ride home.

He sighed, "No biggie, you weren't the only one who overdid it last night." He made his way over to the recliner back in the living room. I followed him but remained leaning against the wall that lead to the hallway.

"Where is Ava?" I asked.

He ran his fingers through his messy brown curly hair. "She, um, left....with someone else," he replied awkwardly, rubbing the back of his neck.

How could Ava leave me here? I thought to myself. I felt disgusted and betrayed, but then again, she had no idea what she was doing either, she was also high. I groaned in pain again, my headache not going away. It felt like I was hungover, although I was sure, from what I could remember, I didn't drink any. Maybe it was just the drugs......

"What about my boyfriend Cameron?"

He nodded towards the door. "Last time I saw him he was outside playing beer pong with his pals and talking about imported sports cars." Cameron left me alone the entire night! The house was empty and was trashed. Where were this kids parents? "In my opinion, imported sports cars-"

I walked over to the front door, opening it. "Um, thanks for..uh, helping me." Before he replied I was on the front porch.

I scanned the front yard for Cameron, but didn't see him. I went down the steps, almost falling since my legs felt like jello, and went to the left side of the house. There he was, sitting on logs with two other guys sitting around a fire. I let out an agitated breath as I made my way towards him.

When he saw me, he got up and smiled. "Alex! I was beginning to worry about you! He took my hand and sat me beside of him. "This is Todd and Liam," he said, nodding to each one as he said their name. They both mumbled hey and gave me a slight wave, but were also scanning my body.

Todd, who had dark skin and a muscular frame, smiled at me. "You were right Cameron, she is cute."

Liam, who had a slight tan and black hair, nodded and agreed. "But you didn't say she had a heavenly figure." He gave me the eyebrow when I looked at him, but I turned away, blushing.

"You want a drink Alex?" Cameron asked, changing the subject.

I shook my head, not wanting anything else that would stimulate my senses. "No thanks babe."
