"Princess your phone is dead. Should I charge it?"

"Yes please! And switch it back on as well" I answered as I was washing the dishes.

After finally having lunch and then loosing a game of rock-paper-scissors to determine who would clean up, we decided to finally check our left-behind phones and reconnect with the rest of the world, just in case there was an emergency or anything.

"You have quite a few messages from Jungkook"he said, which made my blood drain from my whole body. I dropped the dish I was rinsing in the sink, almost breaking it and rushed to the living room where Jimin was.

I wiped my hands on my clothes and snatched the phone away from him.

"Chill, I wasn't gonna read anything"
He defended himself, raising his hands up to his chest level.

I looked at him, his lips formed a perfect isosceles triangle, his brows furrowed faintly and his eyes screaming innocence.

"Sorry" I sighed. "It's just that things with Jungkook are a bit weird" I admitted recalling the previous events.

I was actually pretty confused with the whole situation. Of course my love for Jimin was undeniably immense, but I did find myself somehow liking Jungkook. He was afterall attractive and managed to make my heart flutter with some things he did.

Jimin raised his brows in suspicion and his eyes darkened, making the innocence completely disappear and turning into a completely different person. Even though he was my brother and I'd been with him my whole life, I never got used to those sudden changes.

"Weird?" he asked.

"Weird" I repeated , locking my eyes on him and nodding slowly.

"Like?" he questioned.

"Like...." I trailed off. "Nothing" I decided.

"Oh...so aren't you gonna check your messages?" he asked with a hint of curiosity in his voice.

"I will" I answered sharply.

"Go on then" he continued matching my tone.

"Weren't you gonna pick a movie for us to watch?"

"We can pick together" he shrugged.

"Jimin" I started to get frustrated. I really didn't want him to be able to see the messages. Jungkook was sometimes quite unpredictable.

"Fine" he gave up and plopped on the nearby couch, searching for new movies on his phone.

Finally.

But before I could open the messaging app, my phone started ringing.

Jungkook was calling.

The device almost dropped from my hands as the call took me by surprise.

"Hello?!" I almost shouted.

"Oh hey!" Jungkook's deep yet sweet voice came through.

Jimin's gaze left the phone and fell on me briefly, before looking back at his screen.

"How are you?" I went on.

"I'm good....you?"

"I'm ok"

"That's good"

"Yeah..."

The line went silent for a few seconds.

"So did you receive my messages?"

"My battery died and I just opened my phone. You called before I could do so..." I explained.
