finn's pov
7:16 am
the school bus was packed, almost all the seats were taken, except at the very back. i looked around and saw a familiar face.
"millie! hey, can i sit here?"
"uh sure" she said, clearly not excited about the idea.
i sat down and decided to start a conversation.
"are you like that all the time or just in the mornings?" i said, but kinda regretted it. she's the only person i know in this school, so i should be nice to her.
but to my surprise she started giggling.
"you're funny wolfhard" she said, putting her headphones in.
after about 10 minutes the bus stopped and we entered the school. i was going to put my things into my locker, when i bumped into somebody. wow wolfhard nice job, embarrassing your self in the first day.
"oh my god i'm so sorry, are you ok?"
i looked up and saw a tall red-haired girl.
"no it's my fault, sorry. i'm finn by the way, in new here"
"oh, i'm sadie. you want me to show you around later?"
"yeah sure, that'd be great!"
"okay then, what's your next class?"
"english"
"same, lets go then, we don't wanna be late on your first day. i'll show you around after lunch"
i nodded in response and we walked to english class. the teacher introduced me to the class and gave me a seat right next to sadie.
after english sadie showed me around.
"so yeah, that's it i think. i should probably get to class, i have history next, the teacher will kill me if i come late. i'll see you at lunch and i'm gonna introduce you to my friends!"
"great, thank you sadie!"
"you're always welcome!"
10:14 am
after my math class i went straight to the cafeteria to find sadie. it wasn't hard though, she was waving at me right when i walked in.
"GUYS!! this is finn, he's new here, finn these are my best friends noah and millie" my eyes widened and i saw millie looking at me, surprised, but not happy. noah was quite happy to see me though.
"hello again, wolfhard" said millie.
"hey finnie nice to see you again!!" said noah, with pure excitement.
"wait you know finn?" sadie asked, surprised
"yep, we met already, i'm friends with millie's brother, we met at her house." i said awkwardly smiling.
for the rest of the lunch we were chatting, while millie was sitting quietly, probably listening to us. i liked these kids, i believed we could become great friends.
