CHAPTER 5
** JINAH'S POV **
"OH JINAH! YOU ARE ALREADY LATE MISSY!" My mom screamed in my face as I shot up instantly. I saw my mom in front of me, with her hands on her hips. I took my phone from my night stand and saw the time. 7:40am.
"Oh shoot! I am really late! Thanks mom," I told my mom sarcastically as I rushed to get ready for school.
I took a quick shower and wore a crop top and a high-waisted jeans. I also wore a cardigan to keep me warm.
I ran down the stairs and heard my dad shouting.
"Don't run down the stairs!" Dad shouted but I just ignored him and ran into my car, a red ferarri. As I drove of my garage, I drove my way to school as I had only 10 minutes left before school started.
As I stopped at the traffic light, which was near a bus stop, I saw a familiar cute nerdy boy sitting at the bus stop, obviously waiting for his bus. He kept on looking at his watch, which made him panic.
So, I honked to get his attention, which was sucessful. He looked up and saw me. I rolled the window down and popped my head out of the car.
"Dae Ho! Quick come in here! We're gonna be late for school!" I shouted to Dae Ho.
He ran to my car quickly and went inside the car, panting.
He thanked me softly as I shot him a sincere smile and drove as fast as I could to reach on time.
When we reached school, students crowd around my car, like the usual routine. As I was about to open my car, Dae Ho grabbed my wrist, which caught me by suprise.
"Yes?" I questioned him.
"Hmm, aren't I going to affect your reputation? A nerd and a popular kid coming out from the same car," He mumbled as if he was embarrassed.
"DaeDae, you are my friend, not just some nerd boy. And plus, I don't even care about my reputation. They can say whatever they want about me. I don't give a shit," I gave him the goofy grin which made him smile too.
With that, both of us got out of the car. Of course, there was a crowd around my car. But when they saw Dae Ho, all of them were shocked. I walked to Dae Ho and interlaced our hands. Most of them gasped. People started making space for us to walk as we walked towards my friends.
Hyo Ra was busy asking Ju Hyun about something related to Biology since I saw her, jabbing her finger onto the Biology textbook as she spoke to him. The rest were just talking, I meant, gossiping. But Du Woon was not there.
Typical Woon, must be making out with some girl, I thought.
"Hey Ji!" They chorused which I replied.
"Ehhhh! Ji, who is that? He's kinda cute," Yi Kyung smirking at me and winked at Dae Ho. He turned red instantly.
"Oh? This is Dae Ho," I casually said while waiting for my friends' reactions.
This took my friends' attentions. Even Ju Hyun and Hyo Ra looked up at Dae Ho and me.
"OHMYGOSH! DAE HO? DAE HO?" Yi Kyung squealed loudly.
"Bro? Is that really you?" Yi Kwang walked up to Dae Ho.
Dae Ho nodded his head. With that, they did their own handshake that they always do when they were younger.
"It's really you!" Yi Kwang gave Dae Ho a hug after confirming that it was really Dae Ho. Ju Hyun also gave Dae Ho a hug after they did their handshake too.
Hyo Ra and Yi Kyung attacked him into a hug which made him fell.
"Guys! Relax!" I said it while laughing.
"We miss you so much." Hyo Ra pouted.
"I miss you guys too," Dae Ho stated, pouting too.
"Awwwww, both of you are just so cute! Nerdy love!" Yi Kwang smirked.
As if there was a cue, they blushed at the same time.
Others did not realise that Ju Hyun was gritting his teeth and his fist were clenched.
Woah? Ju Hyun likes Hyo Ra eh?
I grinned to myself as I went to Ju Hyun and stood next to him.
"Hyunnie? Relax, we are all joking," I whispered into his ears which made him turned to me and his lips accidentally brushed against mine.
My eyes went wide. Ju Hyun mirrored my expression.
All of them looked at us. I meant like, everyone, including the students in the hallway.
"What. Happened. Here?" Du Woon suddenly appeared next to me.
