CHAPTER 10

** JINAH'S POV **

My eyes literally went wide. I was so sure my eyeballs almost popped out from its sockets.

"What? You like me since you were 7?" My voice was soft, sounding very much disbelief.

That memory suddenly flashed into my brain.

[FLASHBACK STARTS]

I was walking alone and suddenly I saw Dae Ho and he was being bullied.

"Dae Ho! Come on! Don't cry! Such a cry baby!" One of the bigger boys teased him.

I don't know where my courage came from but I just walked up the big boy and stomped his feet.

"You're a meanie! Do not bully him! If not, I will call the police!" I shouted at him loudly.

Dae Ho came behind me, using me as a sheild.

"So lil girl, you wanna call the po po? Go on! Wait! I bet you don't even have a phone," He proceeded on laughing at me with his idiotic friends.

"Let's see who's laughing now," I smirked as I took out a fake iPhone from my back pocket.

I dialled the number and pressed the phone on my ear, which I was obviously faking it.

I pretended as if the police had picked up the call.

"So, are you the -" I stopped talking as soon as I saw the guys sprinting off like a bunch of cowards.

Stupid boys who fell for a 6 year old trick.

"Now here Dae Ho. Don't cry," I wrapped my small arms around him.

"Let's go home to your mom," I pulled him up.

"Thank you," Dae Ho mumbled while I just gave him a toothy grin and a thumbs up.

[FLASHBACK ENDS]

I snapped back to the reality.

Dae Ho scratched the back of his neck while stuttering, "Uh..y..you know..yeah..when you found me, crying,"

His face was flustered. I smirked at his discomfort.

"Awww!" I started pinching him like as if he was a cute little baby boy.

"You ruined the moment Ji-Ji," Dae Ho sounded disappointed.

"Well, I can't help it. You looked so cute," I cooed while ruffling his hair.

Suddenly, I was on the ground and Dae Ho was hovering on me. He took out his geeky specs and placed it next to me. His light brown eyes were boring into my soul. His fingers traced my jawline to the my neck. My breath hitched as his fingers came in contact with my lips. His mouth went to my neck and began leaving trail of kisses down my neck.

"Now do you think I'm cute?" He mumbled against my neck, made shivers ran down my spine. His voice was sexily low.

I did not trust my mouth so I just shook my head. He crashed his lips onto mine and claimed it posessively. This kiss was more demanding and passionate. It was heated but soon, it ended.

"We better stop. I don't want to go any further. I'm sure you don't want as well," Dae Ho suddenly pulled away from me.

My heart was aching like as if it was being crushed into gazillion pieces.

"You don't want to do it with me?" I whispered softly, almost inaudible.

"No. It's just that, we are at the beach and I want to do it after I get married," Dae Ho looked away at me, looking embarrassed.
