The Final Chapter

"Hey Kent, Noah left these for you." Cat Grant said as she handed him a stack of letters. Clark took the stack from her looking confused.

"Why couldn't he give them to me himself?" He asked as he placed his messenger bag on his desk. "I guess you haven't heard the news then." She replied raising an eyebrow.

"What news?" Clark asked confused. "Noah left. He left for California yesterday." Clark felt his eyebrows raise.

"Yesterday? How come he didn't tell me?" He asked himself but didn't expect Cat to reply. "Maybe it's the simple fact that you've been ignoring him the past few months. You've been a complete dick head to him especially after his dad died."

"His dad died? When? Why didn't I hear about it?" Cat looked at him in astonishment. "I...wow I don't have anything to say to that. Just read the letter's and you'll understand. " Cat walked away shaking her head.

Clark sat on his couch with his head in his hands. He couldn't believe Noah loved him back.

This whole time he thought there was no chance in hell that Noah loved him but here's the proof. He pushed his feelings aside thinking they would never be returned. He fell for Lois but he still loved Noah.

"Clark is everything OK?" Lois asked as she sat down beside him. "Noah left. " Was all he said. "Left? What? Why?"

"He's....he's been going through some thing's and....I-" He let out a shaky sigh. "His dad died and I wasn't there for him Lo." Clark closed his eyes as he felt tears.

"I cause him so much pain. " Lois looked at Clark in sympathy. "I'm so sorry Clark. Did you try calling him?" He nodded. Lois pulled him into a hug. Clark thought of Noah's words. "You act like she's the only person in the world." "You don't give a damn about me."

"I wish he would've told me." Clark thought. "I'm going for a fly Lois. I can't. I can't do this." He said as he pulled out of the hug standing.

"You can't bottle it all up Clark. You can talk to me." He shook his head as he walked towards the window. "I can't Lois. You wouldn't understand."

"I don't think you'd want to know Lois." She huffed, "Try me. "

"Noah is in love with me. He's been hiding his feelings because he thought I was happy with you. He's found out I was Superman." Clark said.

"He...he loves you? And what do you mean thought you were happy? " Lois was shocked. Noah was in love with Clark.

"Yes and I thought I was happy Lo but I'm not. I'm not happy without Noah. I forgot about him and I wasn't there for him when he needed me the most. His fucking dad died and I wasn't there for him.
