Chapter 2: Confessions and Brothers

(A/N: I cried while I edited this because I was listening to this. I know it's Holy Rome and Chibitalia but that's close enough.)

Not so long after they had hugged after being seperated for several centuries, he cupped her face in his hands, scanning every inch of her face almost not believing how much she had changed. As we had mentioned a long time ago, she had changed a lot from an inocent looking little girl into a matured beautiful young woman.

"I'm sorry" he said softly and sadly, she looked at him slightly confused "I'm sorry I didn't keep my promise all those years ago, I hope you'll forgive me." She gave him a kind smile, and gave him a soft gentle kiss on the cheek, before nodding that she had forgiven him and hugged him once again. 

He sighed almost in relief, and would have probably kissed her shyly in happiness but didn't, as they heard a cough come from behind them. His face contorted into a frown of sadness, while Romany ran up and hugged who had interrupted their precious moment. 

"Germany, you're back" Romany said placing a soft kiss on his cheek, just as she had moments ago with Holy Rome. His cheeks quickly turned a nice soft shade of pink, although they had been dating for some decades he still had trouble expressing his feelings.

"Ja, I found Italy wasn't that difficult really, like I had thought it would be. But who is this?" Germany asked looking at Holy Rome almost glaring menacingly at him. Holy Rome didn't seem at all fazed by the intimidating german, but rather laughed slightly at him. Which only angered Germany further, after having witnessed Romany show a display of affection to another male.

"I know it's been years, but at least try to remember me bruder" said Holy Rome, this only seemed to confuse the German all the more. As far as he knew, he only had one brother, and that was the egotistical annoying Prussian (at least according to Romany). Seeing his confusion it only made Holy Rome's smirk grown even more at his slight advantage. 

"I'm your twin brother, how can you possibly forget?" now that seemed to catch him off guard even more while Romany just looked between the two and their similarities. It was true she thought her eyes widening, they had the same blonde hair but HRE's only a slight shade darker, and Germany's eyes only slightly darker than his. 

That and the fact that Holy Rome seemed the more fun loving brother in comparison to Germany with his care free smiles as well as smirks. That and the fact that Germany had his hair slicked back completely while a couple loose strands fell into Holy Rome's own face.

"But back to what I was about to say," Holy Rome said turning to Romany "I came because all those years ago I never told you that...." She nodded letting him know that she was both listening and telling him to go on. Taking a deep breath he leaned ever so closely near her face and whispered in her ear three simple words.

The words she had wanted to hear so long ago took her breath away but now left her conflicted inside. Because although she wanted to say them back someone else was there for her and stood right there wondering he had said. 

"I love you........" and with that her heart almost stopped in joy. Because he loved her back.

Hi reader-chan!

Well chapter two is up and I better get back to work on my school work don't want to get in trouble. But I really hope you guys liked it, I'm doing my best on this but its not easy when you're trying to put into words what's going on in my mind. 

By the way I'll occasionally recommen a song to listen to while reading this why you may ask. But that's cause I got inspiration from those songs or they'll play a part in the story.
