(Still in an unknown POV)

Water, Snap, Fiction, and I try to track down G, seeing if he could help us find Shelby. We eventually find him at his house, and he opens the door, letting a tired grin settle across his face.

"Bros! And respective gals. What's up?" He lets us into his mess of a house, and Fiction grabs my arm to steady herself as she tries to step over all the junk on his floor.

"We need you to help us find the Prime. She called us earlier, saying she didn't want to be the Prime anymore. We want to make sure she's alright," Water replies, frowning.

"I got you covered, bro! What's her name?" G looks to me, and I sigh.

"Shelby. Her name is Shelby."  I reply slowly, making sure I won't break down in tears as I speak.

"Ah! Shelby Marinko, right?" Water nods and G goes over to his laptop, working his browser magic.

"She last used her phone about twenty miles away from here. Does that help?" We all nod, and Fiction trips while trying to walk around.

"Fiction!" I grab her arm, steadying her. She looks over at G, smiling sheepishly.

"Oops?" G laughs, shaking off the tension. He goes to his printer, handing Water a printed out map.

"Well, if you want to find her, you bros should probably get going." We nod, Water mumbling a 'thank you' on his way out.

"We should call Watty and let her know that we have a lead on Shelby's location. In the meantime, We need to tell the police." I sigh, tapping my foot against the floor of the car as we head to the police station, Fiction on the phone with Watty.

"Yes, Watty, I'm sure we have a lead on Shelby, all we need is a search warrant for the house her phone was last used in." Fiction sounds stressed, biting her lip as she waits for Watty to reply.

"Okay, we'll see you there. She'll be fine, Watty." Fiction is the only keeping any hope that Shelby's okay. Snap looks over at me, noticing the worried expression on my face.

"I'm sure she's okay. She's a smart girl, she knows how to take care of herself and make sure she doesn't get killed." I nod, trying my hardest not to cry.

When we park at the police station, Water heads in alone, thinking it the best idea. I sure hope he's right.

(Shelby's POV)

You stir from a restless sleep, finding yourself still in the makeshift cell. "Darn, thought they might let me out if I did what they asked."

Speaking of the figure, they come into your cell, setting down a plate of food in front of you. "Can't let you starve, unfortunately. If they found your dead body somewhere, they'd surely trace it back to me." You sigh, taking the food.

"Thanks," You mutter, eating while running through all the possible scenarios in your head. They could kill you, torture you, and...you know what? Don't think about that. Definitely, don't. You don't know how much time has passed, and you think you dozed off sometime between when you ate and now, but now you're wide awake, staring back at the figure sitting before you.

A knock sounds at a door somewhere. The figure gets up, leaving you alone once again. "Can I help you, officers?"

"Yes, we have reason to believe that you kidnapped a girl and are housing her here. We have a search warrant." Has your Calvary come already?

"Go ahead." You hear footsteps up a flight of stairs, and banging right outside the door to your makeshift prison.

"Open the door." The figure does as the officer's request, and they burst into the room, finding you chained by your ankle to a far wall.

"Release her." The figure doesn't make a move to listen to the officers, instead grabbing the door to close it.

Suddenly, they fall to the ground, In Ex standing behind them. "Don't. Even. Think. About. It." Water runs into the room, using a key to unlock the cuff around your ankle.

"W-Water? Ex?" They both nod, Water picking you up and carrying you down the stairs to the door.

"They didn't hurt you, did they?" You shake your head, waiting for Water to set you down on the ground.

"No, all they did was break my phone." You hadn't thought about that. They broke your phone. Your mother must be so worried about you, not to mention the others!

"Don't worry, everyone else knows you're alright. We're taking you home." Something is off about Water, and you feel dizzy, falling asleep in his arms.

(TIME SKIP!)

You wake up to find you're in a different makeshift prison, the figure grinning.

"They almost found you. Good thing I have informants, they let me know that your precious Waterfox almost found you." Water? They're still looking for me?

"They can't find you now, though. Sad, isn't it? I hope you enjoyed your little dream because that's the last time you're ever seeing them." At least it was a dream, and they didn't help kidnap me again. But, wait. How did they know about my dream?

The figure stands up to leave, laughing. "Don't get your hopes up, they still can't help you." They shut a door behind them, leaving you with your thoughts.

"I can only hope they're here soon," You whisper quietly to yourself, sighing as you lean against a wall, and wish you could sleep more.

(Back to the other POV)

We get the police to search the house and find traces of Shelby's phone in a room, with a chain attached to a wall, seemingly to keep hold of someone's ankle.

"She's not here, though we can suspect she was at one point, seeing as these are pieces of a broken phone, presumably hers," One of the officers reports back to us, making Water and I frown.

"So someone moved her? They knew we were coming?" All of us frown at the prospect of one of us betraying another.

"That is what it looks like. We'll ask around the neighborhood, see if anyone knows anything about the car the owner drives." Snap, Fiction, Water and I nod, though admittingly down-trodden.

Snap turns to me as if looking for an answer. "Who could it have been? We know it wasn't Water, or you because neither of you have been on your phones at all."

"T-That means...." I shake my head, knowing both of them too well to believe either of them could betray us.

"Snap, I don't think any of us actually gave it away on purpose. My best guess is, someone was listening in on a conversation, and somehow told Shelby's kidnapper." I sigh, looking at my feet as I try not to let my worry show.

"I just hope she stays safe until we can actually save her." My whisper goes unnoticed as I bite my lip, going through scenarios in my head as we wait for more info on Shelby. I hope she's safe right now.
