I'm trapped -Genemau *NEVER FINISHED/WONT FINISH*

Chapter 5

APHMAU'S POV

After a long long school day I start to walk home. When I get there I see my father sitting in his chair with empty beer cans around him, and one half full in his hand.

He looks at me when I come in then looks back at the game on tv, he doesn't seem mad at me like usual. What has changed... as much as I want to leave it at this I need to tell him I'm studying today, so I try to find a way to get his attention without angering him.

I slightly lift and put my foot on the ground making a tiny noise, he looks at me his eyebrows furrowed. I get slightly scared he is going to be mad at me, but I hold it back and pull of my backpack and get a book out pretending to read it. I then look at him again.

"Your studying again with that boy aren't you." He says with a mad frown.

I gulp but nod, he then sighs and finishes off his beer, "Get me another beer and go to your room until he comes and gets you." I nod and hurry to the kitchen to get him a beer. When I get in the kitchen I see a woman in the kitchen cooking.

I gasp when I see her and she turns around startled. When I see her I almost cry, she looks at me confused but then she studies my face and her eyes tear up. "A-Aphmau?"

I nod and run into her for a hug, her hugs me back I flinch but try hard not to let it show. She steps back and asks me questions, that I can't answer cause I can't talk...

I stop her by putting my finger on my mouth. She looks confused but stops talking. I open my mouth and pretend to talk but then I shake my head. "Y-You can't talk anymore? Why what happened?" "I know your father was a bad man but I didn't think he would make you mute!"

I hear my father shout for his beer and I look at her then run to the freezer, I grab a beer and run into the living room. I give it to him and he looks at me. "Your mother isn't here for good,the law states both parents have to see the child unless you get some paperwork stuff, which I, not doing so she is here for today and tomorrow, and that's it."

I frown but one thought comes into my head, I can't leave my mom but I have to study with Gene, it's the only thing keeping my sanity alive, being with him. I decide I'm going to study with him tonight and skip school tomorrow to spend time with my mother and keep her up to date by writing on paper.

I go back into the kitchen and see it is also 4:30, I look at mom then the clock, I get  a random envelope and write, I have to study with a partner at 4:30 he is picking me up. But I am skipping school tomorrow to spend time with you.

She looks at me and says, "Ok but you do know I'm only staying until tomorrow night, around 11:00 right.." I nod and we hug. I look at the time again and it's 4:26. He should be here soon. I grab my backpack off the floor and put my purse in it, because it has my makeup, he might try to hear my wounds again.

My mom looks at me when I hear a knock on the door, my eyes light up and I poke my head around the kitchen door, my mom does the same, "He's cute" my mom whispers to me, I blush and glare at her. She just smiles at me laughing slightly, my father calls to me and I throw my backpack over my shoulder and walk out to him.

My mothers head pokes out again and Gene sees her this time, I can tell, but he doesn't say anything.  My father says to be back by 7:00 like last time, and we both nod.

We leave and my father closes the door. We get into Genes car, and he looks at me. I smile at him and he smiles back but his eyes hold questions. We get to his house and he again says to his mom that he's got a partners and all that. He brings me to his room again, and I don't see the ShadowKnight poster on the wall. He left!

I sit on his bed and sigh at how comfortable it is. He looks at me then hand me paper, pen, and a book to write on. Time to answer some questions I guess.

"Who was the woman?" He ask. I write My mother.

He look at me, and says, "I thought she left!?" "Were you lying? Has she been abusing you too!?" He starts rambling.

I stop him by putting my hand over his mouth, he looks at me then at my hand. I slowly remove my hand awkwardly. He looks at me and his eyes say something but I can't tell what. It's like they want to tell me something, but his body is holding back.

I start writing on the paper. No I was not lying, she did leave, but law says that both parents have to see the child and all that, unless you do this paper work stuff that my father doesn't want to spend money on. So my mom is coming for today and tomorrow only.

I stop writing and he reads it, he is about to say something and I take that as my cue to write again, I don't want him talking yet. I start writing again and say, That is why I won't be at school tomorrow. I will be at home with my mom.

I can tell in his eyes he worries about the abuse, so before he can talk I write again.
I won't get abused with her there, she doesn't know about it, she knows some, but not all. She left because he was a bad man, she knew nothing of the abuse.

I stop writing and let him read. He is going to say something, but doesn't. I chuckle a little and write, You can talk now

He nods then starts talking, "So no abuse? Right?"  I nod a yes.

"Good I'll miss you at school but don't worry. I'll make some things happen while your gone, like talking to the Shadow Knights on leaving and even doing school. Hey! Did you know I got an A on a test yesterday because I went to class and paid attention!"  "You know... I did it for you. I saw how my life was practically perfect and how yours was so messed up. Yet you still go good in school. So I decided to go to classes and study!"

I look at him in awe, he did that for... Me
