Chapter 2

I wake up in Chloe's room. "What the?" I sit up. I rub my forehead. "Your awake." I look over to see Felix sitting in a chair next to the bed. "What happened?" I ask trying to get out of the bed. "Woah. You called Chloe but when she answered the was no there. She ran all the way to the woods and we followed. We saw you passed out on the floor. We saw another body, your father's, dead. Chloe called her father who called the police. Before they got there we brought you here." He explained. "Also. The messenger came and this was for you." He says handing me an envelope. I look at it. "Does Chloe know of this?" I ask. "No. It arrived while she was helping you up here." He says. I open the letter. It read:

'Dear Angelica,
I was in town when I saw a Chloe and a group of kids run to the woods. I followed them and saw them carrying you away from your house. After they left I went in and saw your father. I am so sorry. I am sorry that I left you for the other girl. I guess I was swayed by her figure. I was heartbroken when you dumped me. I guess I deserved it. I shouldn't have kissed her. i hope you are doing alright. I will visit you tomorrow at noon.

I couldn't believe my eyes. Xander was coming? After a year since he kissed that girl. I look at the time, eleven fifty-five. "How long have I been out?" I ask. "A day." Oh God. I stand up. I run out the door. I make it down the stairs to see Chloe opening the door. "What the hell!" She yells. i use my speed to grab her before she jumps on him. "What are you doing here, Xander?" She asks with venom in her voice. Everyone comes down the stairs. "I'm just here to check on Angelica." He says. "Who is this guy?" Alya and Marinette ask. "This is my exboyfriend, Xander." I say. "WHo broke up with who?" Nino asks. Adrien elbows him in the gut. "Rude much?" Adrien asks. "That's not the only reason. Tell them what you told me in the letter." I say getting dizzy. "I am here to apologize for what happened last year." He says. "Well nothing will change what you did." Chloe says as I let go of her. I fall to the ground. "Angelica. Are you ok?" Everyone surrounds me. "How long has it been since you fed?" Xander asks. "Chloe uses her speed and pins him to the wall. "Damn you. Leave it to you to blurt things out for the world to hear!" She yells at him. "What does he mean 'fed'? She's human." Alya says. "I can't smell vampire on her at all." Nino says. "Chloe. What's going on here?" Nathaniel asks. "You guys might want to sit down for this." Chloe says glaring at Xander.
