Chapter 3

    Chloe explains everything. How my father was a human and my mother was a vampire. My mother was killed and how the bracelet could make the vampire smell disappear when I wore it. While this was happening I was drinking from a blood bag. Xander was quiet the entire time. Once I got my strength back I tossed Xander across the room. "What the hell was that for?" He asks. "For ruining my life. I wish you never asked to help me that day!" I scream and run up the stairs. I hear someone run after me but I didn't care because it wasn't Xander. I slam Chloe's door open and sit on the bed. "Are you ok?" I look up and see Felix. "Yeah." I say wiping tears off my face. "You don't look ok. Come here." He says sitting next to me and pulling me into a hug. "Can you tell me what happened between you two?" He asks. I nodded and explained everything. "Wow. You know most girls would just leave them. I didn't think you'd slap him." He says after I finish. "Let's just say I stand by what I said downstairs. 'I wish he never asked to help me that day.'" I said. Just then Chloe came in. "I made Xander leave. How are you doing?" She asks. I'm fine. I don't know if anyone will trust me after today, but other than that I am fine." I say sarcastically. "I'll talk with them, later." Felix says. He walks out of the room. Chloe follows. When Chloe shuts the door I can hear her talking outside. "I know you like her." She says to Felix. "So what if I did? It wouldn't work out. You of all people know about my past." He explains. "Yeah. How are you going to tell her if she likes you back? I can and will kill you if you hurt my best friend. I should've killed Xander, but she told me not to.
