The next morning in class, Kelly sits by Dakota. They don't have time to talk about the nights events before professor Rhodes comes in and starts having everyone share their interesting facts about themselves. Kelly couldn't stop looking at Dakota. His green eyes were so beautiful. His smile was warm. She was starting to really like him. After class they went their separate ways. By 2:30 they were both done with classes. Dakota saw Kelly walking to her car and decided to make his move.
"Hey. How about that rain check? Only, let's do lunch? I don't think you wanna drink after last night, ha ha. 'Nice one retard. She's never gonna go out with you now. Just forget it.'
" That would be nice. I'm starving."
'No dumbass, don't do it. You can't.'
Again, she ignored her thoughts. She followed Lennie's advice. Just go for it. They met up at a small cafe. Kelly had never been there before but she was willing to try it. They went inside. They were talking for about an hour when Kelly's phone started ringing off the hook. She looked down and saw that she was getting lots of texts. She put the phone on vibrate and kept talking to Dakota.
