❁ Kimberly Wales ❁
The next morning came fast and for some reason, no *Ding* sound from my iPhone.
It's a Saturday and I can't believe Tyler asked me out.
I'm not even so sure if this is a date.
Is this a date?
If it is then--
No, no, no.
He didn't say it's a date, Kimberly.
Calm down, don't overthink.
This is probably just some.. um.. friendly gathering, yeah.
I took out my pale blue denim jeans and loose white shirt with some colorful graffiti with my black Havaianas.
I tied my hair into a ponytail and checked my skin if it's oily.
All done!
I absolutely love casual clothing.
I went downstairs and took out the toasts from the toaster.
It's exactly eight thirty in the morning and I quickly finished my toast and gulped down a glass of full cream milk.
"You're up early."
I turned around and I saw mom chuckle.
"Come on mom--"
"So who is it? That handsome guy? Tyler..?" She interrupted.
"Yup."
"I knew it! You guys are dating, aren't you?"
"No! This is just uh.. I don't know ask him. I don't know either. He just told me that he'll pick me up nine in the morning." I said.
"Fine, I'll ask him if he comes." Mom winked.
I rolled my eyes and checked how I look on the mirror one more time when our doorbell rang.
*Ding Dong*
Mom hurriedly rushed to the door and opened it for me.
"Tyler! Hi!" Mom greeted.
"Hi Mrs. Wales." He politely greeted back.
"Oh, shut up. Call me Aimee." I winked.
"Uh.. okay Mrs. Aimee Wales."
I gazed at Tyler sheepishly and he shrugged his shoulders.
"Nevermind. So.. are you and my Kimi-patootie are going to go on a date?--" Mom asked.
"Mom! Don't call me that!" I interrupted.
"Aw, come on. It's cute." Mom pouted.
Tyler and I locked gazes and I looked away when I noticed my cheeks turning hot.
"Y-Yeah. I wanted to take her out if that's alright.."
My mom let out a loud squeal of delight and pushed me near Tyler.
I stared at his black eyes and he stared on mine.
"Uh.."
After gazing at his black eyes, I pushed him away.
"Sorry.." He apologized.
"It's fine."
I exited the house and he followed, he opened the car door for me and sat on the driver's seat next to mine.
