Chapter 4

Jungkook POV

I'm sorry Yeonhwa, for breaking your heart,but this is the only reason to keep you safe...

"Dad, I'm coming in!" I knocked on my father's office,he had asked me to go to his office and said that he wanted to discuss with me about something.

I entered his office,and saw that my father was already sitting there on the couch,drinking a cup of coffee."Oh, you're here,dear,sit down." I immediately obeyed,but i had a bad feeling, a really bad feeling. "what did you want to discuss about, Father?"

He put down his cup of coffee, and in the blink of an eye,his cheerful smile was replaced by a frown."Hmm,dear,I heard that your girlfriend, Yeonhwa, had just lost her parents." I was a bit upset at my father's comment, is it just me,or did my father sound a bit rude? "Yes, and what about it?"

My father sighed and said, "Break up with her."W-what? What did my father just said? "Father, I will never break up with Yeonhwa, she's my one and only, nobody else can replace her! And why do you even want us to break up?" I retorted. "Well I do not want my son to marry an orphan!" My father suddenly boomed.His mood changed so suddenly. I shook my head vigorously,"No,father, I will never ever break up with Yeonhwa, never!"

I stood up and just as I was about to leave the office, my father said, "Jungkook-ah, you know what I'm capable of, you think I will let your girlfriend go so easily?" I immediately stopped in my tracks and turned around, once again facing my father,"W-what?What do you mean?" All of a sudden,my father had turned into a beast. He laughed evilly before smirking, "Well, aren't you curious about Yeonhwa's parents' mysterious death? Let me tell you the truth, I killed them."

I collapsed on the ground. My father is a muderer! "H-how,how is that possible? And w-why?" "Well, her parents worked under my company and they owed me a lot of money.No matter how much I threatened them to return me, they just wouldn't spit the money out. I decided to really punish them, and it leads to killing them, isn't that so fun and exciting?" My father cackled.

My father is a psycho, he's absolutely crazy! My father crept towards me while I moved backwards slowly, inch by inch. He raised an eyebrow and forced me to look at him, "Dear son, you surely don't want your girlfriend to die, right?" I glared at my father, but I know how capable he is, I just can't defeat him, not yet. "Yes, I will break up with Yeonhwa."

My father finally moved away from me. "Now that's a good boy, get out now!" I opened the door and heard him said," Oh, and don't you dare to play any tricks on me, I will know every single that is happening,dear." I immediately closed his door and locked myself in my room, crying my heart out. I'm sorry Yeonhwa, but that's the only way to protect you...
