Chapter 3
*Tyler’s POV*
Finally all of the fans left and there were only youtubers left for the party. I was just dancing around with my good friend Korey and having some shots, or maybe too many shots? I started to feel a little dizzy after a little while.
“Uh… Tyler?” A deep voice said quietly from behind, tapping my shoulder. I turned around to face a tall figure with blurry blue eyes, everything was blurry from my point of view, actually.
“Oh hi Troye! I missed you!” I hugged him tight. What are you doing, Tyler? You’re drunk and he’s a lot younger than you.
“He-hey… Could you please uh, wink for the camera? Because you know, that’s what I do in my videos and…”
“Wait, what am I doing?” I didn’t hear a single word he had said. Most of you will think it was because of how drunk I was, but the truth is, I couldn’t stop staring at those beautiful eyes of his. When I looked at them, everything else just went silent.
He chuckled. “I said, could you please wink for the camera so I can show it in one of my videos?”
“Oh yeah no problem!” I attempted to wink at the camera and then I just burst out laughing for no reason. I was making a complete fool of myself, but you can’t do much when you’re under the effects of alcohol.
*Troye’s POV*
The place was emptied and soon there were only youtubers left, youtubers that had no idea of who I was nor I knew who they were. I had finished my small meetup and signing which kind of calmed my nerves, but they came back when I saw all these unknown people filling my surroundings.
“Hi there! You must be Troye Sivan?” A high voice asked from behind. I turned around and saw a small girl with long ombré hair and blue eyes, she was holding hands with a really tall guy with black hair.
“Hi, yes I am”
“I’m Zoe and this is my boyfriend Alfie, it’s very nice to meet you!” She said as I shook hands with both of them. Zalfie, of course! How come I don’t remember them? I loved their videos so much.
“Oh nice to meet you as well, I’m a big fan!”
“Thank you, we love your videos too! We’ll be in touch so we can hang out tomorrow maybe?” Alfie told me. They liked me? They wanted to hang out? Wow.
“I’d love that! See you around guys!” I told them and said goodbye.
On my way to the bar area I met Tanya, Jim, Caspar, Joey, Marcus and Joe who happened to be Zoe’s brother. But I was actually looking for a specific person. I kept scanning the crowded room for Tyler and I froze when his brown quiff and his beautiful smile appeared on my sight. I decided to go say hi, he’s just a new friend right? There’s nothing unusual with wanting to say hi to my friend.
As I kept getting closer to where he was, I started to notice that he was a little bit goofier and louder than he normally was. Is he drunk? Of course he is. He was with Korey Kuhl, another youtuber and maybe something else than his friend? I couldn’t help but imagine the worst.
I finally reached the bar. “Uh… Tyler?” I tapped his shoulder.
“Oh hi Troye! I missed you!” He pulled me into a very unexpected hug. He missed me? No, he’s just drunk.
I then proceeded to say what I had practiced. “He-hey… Could you please uh, wink for the camera? Because you know, that’s what I do in my videos and…”
“Wait, what am I doing?” He asked goofily. I swear he had been staring at my eyes this whole time instead of listening… No Troye, he’s just drunk. Stop thinking that he likes you.
I then repeated what I had said before, and he winked at the camera and then burst out laughing out of nowhere. He looked so good even when he was under the effects of alcohol. I just wish that he had actually missed me, and that the tight hug he gave me was legit… Stop it, Troye! Why do you always do this? He’s just your friend, nothing else. JUST FRIENDS!
