Project Made for Love ~

Week 1 Day 2

Mina's POV:

I got up fairly early. It was pretty hard to sleep. My thoughts were all over the place. "What if I don't even start the project?"

"Will Sumi think bad of me?"
"Will I always be this person?"

I lightly slapped myself back to reality. I looked over to see Sumi still asleep looking paler. *sigh* I have to do this. I need to do this. I freshened up real quick and started getting my things ready. "It's a new day...you have a chance to change and become a new person," I said to myself. I slowly made my way out the door, making sure not to wake Sumi up.

I walked to the same coffee shop I went to yesterday. I looked at all the people and my hands started to shake even more vigorously than yesterday. I let out a sigh. Maybe I needed some coffee. I made my way into the coffee shop, it smelled real good. I calmed down and made my way in line. I ordered a regular coffee with some cream and sugar. After getting my order I made my way to an empty table by a window and sat down. I drank my coffee wondering how I was going to do this. I laid my head on the table, this won't work out. My chest felt heavy and I could feel myself about to cry.

Just as I was about to tear up I heard a low, calm voice asking, "May I sit here?"

I quickly tried to relieve myself and lifted my head. I saw myself looking at a tall man with brown hair. He had a big smile and he looked really nice.

"Uh- ye-yeah sure."

The man sat in the seat across from me. I looked at him and froze. He... was....handsome! I felt by cheeks warming up and I quickly lowered my head.

"STOP STOP STOP" I said to myself.

"Are you okay?" I heard the man say.

I raised my head and forced a smile.

"Yeah...ye-yeah... i'm okay hehe," my face started burning up again.

The man looked at me concerned then smiled. He reached out his hand.

"Hello, my name is Taehyung Kim, b-but you can call me Tae.."

I looked down at his hand. I smiled a little and put my small hand in his.

"Mina."

He smiled wider then let go of my hand and continued to drink his order. I did the same.

"Hmm.." he put down his coffee. " I saw you outside yesterday.. you were setting up a camera and a mic, you looked quite nervous."

I stopped drinking my coffee and looked back at him.

"Yeah...." I tried not to cry. I totally forgot about the project.

"Is something wrong?" he asked me concerned.

I looked at him and started to tear up..

"Well... I have this project where I have to interview people in a particular place about their views on other countries... but see my partner.. fell ill.. and I might have to do this by myself. I though am very shy and ...well... socially awkward..."

I looked up at him to see his reaction. He was blank.

"I don't want to let my partner down and well... I just feel like I can't do it."

I felt so dumb. I started shaking again. I felt a hand on my shoulder comforting me. I looked up to see Tae calmly stroking my shoulder.

"Ayee~ don't worry. If you want, I can help you".

I froze and looked at him.

"R-really? You would do that?"

I kept looking at him. He was so nice. He was offering to help me, even though he barely knew me.

"I am totally okay with that".

He grinned widely and I grinned back. He took out his phone and looked through what seemed to be his calendar.

"I'm kind of busy today...are you okay with starting tomorrow?"

I nodded in approval and thanked him.

"No prob-" his phone started ringing.

He picked up the call and started talking to this guy named Jungkook. Probably one of his friends.

"Sorry but I have to leave.." he then took out a pen and started writing on a napkin and handed it to me.

"Here is my number, call me later today to figure out the details for tomorrow."

I slowly took the napkin and nodded at him. I waved him good bye as he made his way out of the coffee shop. Was this a dream? I don't know, but I felt my heart beat faster every time I thought of him. I throw my cup away and saved Tae into my contacts. I made my way back to the hotel, not as tensed as yesterday. Sumi was still asleep so I quietly made my way to my bed. All I could think about was Tae. I've never had this feeling before. I quickly shook it off and started watching YouTube videos on my laptop till 12:30. I ordered the same thing as yesterday through room service and woke up Sumi.

Sumi's POV:

I woke up to Mina looking really happy. I looked back at her weakly and confused.

"Huh? You look bright and happy today".

I saw Mina blush and smile even wider. It was kind of scaring me to be honest. I've never seen her like this..SERIOUSLY!

"You okay? Did the project go well or something?"

I kept asking her questions and all she kept doing was laughing. I lastly gave up until I heard a knock on door.

"Ahh... food is here!" Mina jumped off my bed and walked towards the door.

The room service people gave us our food and left after we said our "thank -you's". We ate delightfully. I kept looking at Mina, still kind of scared. I wanted to know what was going on. After eating. I slowly dozed off.

Mina's POV

I couldn't tell Sumi what was going on. My mind kept going blank when I thought about Tae. At last she fell asleep. I looked through my contacts and called Tae.

After a couple of rings I heard a voice on the other line, "Hello?"

I blanked out, it was actually him.

"He-hello it's me Mina~" I said quietly.

I heard a couple of yells in the background but I ignored it.

"Sorry about my friends they are loud...lemme make my way to another room".

The phone started crackling as he started walking to another area.

"Hello? You still on the line?" I heard Tae say.

"Yeah, I am here... would tomorrow 10 am work for you?" I asked him nervously.

He agreed. I let out a sigh of relief.

"Same coffee shop?" He asked.

"Yes".

We both confirmed and hung up. Even though the conversation was short, I was so happy to hear his voice again. Was this a crush? I've never felt this way before. I continued watching videos and then slowly fell asleep.
