Overwatch brothers and sisters

Violence is usually the answer but not today

Genetically, you were not Roadhog's brother/sister, he'd found you during one of his fights against the Omnics for the ALF. Even though he was a killer, a man's heart remained in his body and he could not bring himself to leave a child alone in a destroyed country like his own. He taught you many things during your childhood, Roadhog was becoming a real big brother for you. He had always taught you to defend yourself without arms, yet he never asked you to kill people with your abilities. Sure, with your 10 years, he could not really ask you for something like that. A few years later, Roadhog met Junkrat, with whom he quickly became a friend. Junkrat was becoming the second brother for you but not as important as Roadhog. You had already passed the 18 years when Roadhog met Junkrat. But you were still with Roadhog because you were a little afraid of the reality and especially the Omnics. It did not bother Roadhog that you stayed with him, it made him even happy your presence. But one day you had to go and make your own life. For your safety, Roadhog had explained to you all his history, his crimes and his combinations. A question remained in your head throughout your explanation. Why did not he kill you when he had the chance? You did not blame your brother for killing and robbing, after all, he did not live in an adequate environment. You never had the courage to ask him when you could and without warning, he left with his friend. You were sad that your brother had to leave but you knew it was for your safety and his. You could not blame him. This day was the time of the farewells but you had the feeling that you will see him one day or another. Maybe not in favourable conditions but if you could see him again it would not be refusal.

Several years passed after your separation with your brother. You did not become the person that Roadhog wanted, nor did you. Your identity became as well known as that of your brother and Junkrat without you knowing how. You had to escape the police every day without thinking of anything else. Except that the police were mistaken on one point, you had never killed a single person in your life. But because of some of your relationships like your brother's, the police did not care a little whether you were innocent or not. Your brother repeated it to you every day, you should not kill anyone unless you were to protect someone precious to you. So you respected this rule, you had no one to protect so you could not afford to kill people. Even to survive you did not kill anyone, at worst you hurt people but you never killed them. It was a golden rule that your brother had given you and you had vowed to respect it until your last breath. Except that this time it was not police officers but agents of Overwatch. You sighed inwardly and you were already preparing to run to escape. Especially as you knew the reputation Overwatch had and the speed of some of their agents could vastly surpass you. You could recognise in the dim light the face of Soldier 76, Lucio and Tracer. You wanted to scream but you just could not do it. 'C'mon fuck me...' Yes, Overwatch really wanted to get hold of you. You were starting to run for your life except that you were already hearing the footsteps of Tracer. She who had the ability to blink helped her get closer to you. Especially since Lucio boosted his friends and you had nothing to go faster. You were jumping obstacles like junk or just cardboard. You had spent your life fleeing, you used to pass things like that without effort. "Hold on! We don't want to hurt you, you don't have to run away like that luv!" You hesitated to stop, but a doubt persisted in your mind. How do you know if they lied to you? You stopped even if you were not sure, you turned and you stood in front of the agents. "How can I trust you?" Tracer was advancing slowly toward you as if she were approaching an animal on guard.

"You have to help us, your brother does not want to listen to us." You were surprised by what Tracer said. Had Overwatch succeeded in capturing your brother? You walked toward Tracer and shrugged her shoulders. Your uncompromising gaze and you became uneasy as soon as your brother was mentioned. "Let's go right away, you will explain to me during the day!" Tracer nodded and she took your wrist, you ran together to the ship. During your race, you could see the look of Soldier 76. He did not appreciate your presence at all but you received many looks like that all your life. So you were used to this whole routine. You were sitting on a chair and listening carefully to Tracer's story. "You see (Y/n), your brother is a rather dangerous person but these abilities are very useful. Overwatch wanted him to join our organisation. There was a big pursuit race with him and we finally captured him, except that your brother is not the most sociable person in the world. So Overwatch decided to find a person with whom he could communicate. That's why you're here luv." "So you want I talk to my brother, right?" "It is luv." You were not talking and you were puzzled about what Tracer told you. You crossed your arms in front of your chest and you reflected by closing your eyes. You did not think your brother was not a talkative person. In your presence, he spoke non-stop, whereas Tracer tells you that you were slightly shocked. You were taken to a cell and you could hear Junkrat's voice. You smiled unconsciously and you walked towards the cell. "Hey brother, how are you?" Roadhog turned his head towards you and you could guess that he was smiling behind his mask. "What about you (Y/n)? Why are you at Overwatch?" Tracer opened the door and you went back into the cell, giving a hug to your brother and Junkrat. "It's a long story..." "We have all the time (Y/n), tell me."

A/N: As I said in my other story, I'm sorry about this short chapter. I will leave for three weeks and I will be unable to update my stories. I hope you can forgive me for that.
