July 18 14:54 2087 POV: Evan Fong

I slipped through the cracks of the open door, feeling the soft air of the midday breeze before I shoved my mask on my face, keeping my identity to myself. We all have masks, except Moo, because he can just make people forget his face. I'm not so lucky.

I inhale the disgusting air of Los Santos, and I'm filled with little relief as going to Los Carta won't be any better. I want to get above the smog level, but a creature flying through the air with a large owl mask on its head will raise some suspicions, so I just deal with it. I pull my mask down harder over my face, in hopes to block out some of the tainted air.

Los Carta.

I look through the door, feeling disgusting just being here. I used to be so acquainted with these people, that's the bad thing. That's in the past. Not important anymore. I need to set that girl free. I adjust my mask over my face once more, then rap on the door. I hear the clamoring inside cease, and then bearing footsteps.

The door creaked open, and the thin face of the nicest member of their crew greeted me as I opened the door.

"Good afternoon Vanoss. Wildcat is this way," The man said, tucking in his large wings to his sides as a sign of comfort. The man has the most beautiful Blue Jay wings I have ever seen. It's a shame that he can't retract them like I can with my owl wings.

"Thank you, Bryce," I said, ducking into the door, which leads me to dark corridor. There were pool tables, air hockey stands, and more gaming consoles than anybody could ever need. That's one weakness of this gang. They all have their own separate houses and one base. In ours, we all live in the same house that doubles as our base.

"Right in here," Bryce said again, standing awkwardly, trying not to smoosh himself in the hallway.

"Thank you," I said, as the door opened, spilling the orange, uncomfortable light into the hallway.

"Wildcat?" Bryce called. The chair that was turned around to me spoke.

"Yes?" The pretentious man spoke.

"Vanoss is here," Bryce shook in his presence. Another weakness. Your crew can't be afraid of your leader.

"Send him in," Bryce did as told, then shut the door behind me. In the room stood three men all facing me, with the man in the chair facing the opposite direction.

"Hello, Evan," The man turned around to me, showing his real face, instead of his normal pig mask.

"Code names only here," I said sternly.

"Oh, after everything we've been through together?" He teased. I felt my cheeks flourish.

"After everything Wildcat," I remained serious.

"Well, 'Wildcat' certainly wasn't what you sad when we were dating!" The room grew giggly and deceitful. I felt sick.

"That's the past Wildcat. You know why I'm here," I said, glad that this mask is blocking my red cheeks.

"To be completely honest, I have no idea why you're here. Unless you're here, crawling to take me back,"

"Ugh," I groaned. Laughter ensued as high fives were handed out throughout the room.

"Nah, Evan, I really have no idea why you're here," He said, leaning over the desk, peering through the holes in my mask, right into my eyes.

"Where is she?"

"Kelly? Why she's on the couch! Kelly, come to say hi to my ex-boyfriend!" Wildcat digressed further and further from our original goal.

"No, Wildcat, not Kel-" He cut me off
