Vampire Academy Dimitri's point (Lost in darkness)

Chapter 2

It was a beautiful day, a warm breeze passed by. It was spring now and all the flowers were growing, it was a wonderful scent. It were roses, my favourite flowers. Because they remind me of Rose.... Rose who always loved me, even when i was 'dead' she was searching for me. I never will forget that she saved my life and brought me back.

I tought about the moments in the cabine before i turned into a strigoi, those moments were wonderfull. We never did it again... I just can't do it, cuz' it reminds me when i found her back in Russia (when i was a strigoi) and i turned her into my very own bloodwhore.

Rose and i are back together for a month, i'm happy about that, but i never gonna forgive myself for what i did to Rose. I let her cry, i hunted her, i hurted her and i wasn't be able to protect her. I. Let. Her. Down.

I know she forgive me but she doens't understand why it's so difficult for me to not think about it when i see her. I will never forgive myself !

I almost arrived by the chambers of the Queen. I know she was expecting me so early to talk to me. She will send me to a secret location for a couple of days, so i won't be able to see Rose and i'm gonna miss her. She doesn't know about my secret mission, i may not tell her. Because when i tell her, she will comes too and it's a dangerouse road, i don't want to risk her life.... And i need some time for my own, just to think about everything what happend.

I fanilly arrived at the chambers and knocked the door, but first i had to indentify myself and a scanner scanned my eye. "Come in" said Lissa. she sat in a beautiful chair that was the Queens chair.

"Good morning, Majesty" i said. "How many times do i have to say that you can call me Lissa, Guardian Belikov?" she laughed.

"Okey, Maj...uhm...Lissa. You can call me Dimitri" said i polite. She was charming as always, but not so charming as Rose. well yeah... i found Rose charming, that made me laugh

"You know why i let you comme here, Dimitri??" she asked. "No, i don't know, i just know that i have to leave  court for a couple of days" i said honestly. "Oh,yes...did you tell anything about this meeting to Rose??" she asked. "No" i said. "Good, i don't want her to risk her life again" she answered "Please, sit".

I chosed a comfortable chair next to Lissa. "You have to travel far and the road to your destination is really dangerouse, i can't send you with a plane because if i do that, everyone will know about the trip. It have to be a secret. Your job is to learn a selected group of Moroi,who wants to learn to defend themself, the basic stuff. When you arrive at your destination, they will give you more information" she said.

"Okey,  but... how long do i have to stay there? " i said annoyed, because i don't want to train Moroi, i want to be here, with Rose.

"Oh...Dimitri. I know you don't want to do this." How can she guess that??  I had my guardianface on.

"And i know you want to be here with Rose... And- "

How can she knows that? Oh wait....maybey she can see it because of my aura.

"And i know you don't want to train those Moroi, but please Dimitri. You're the only dhampire that i trust! " Lissa said.

"And how about your guardians?? and Rose?? " i asked.

"Ofcourse i trust Rose!! You know i can't send her with you, she's to important for bouth of us. And i trust my guardians, but it's just... better if i send you, do you understand it?" she asked.

I nodded. "So, do you want to do it?" "Ofcourse Majesty, it's my duty to serve you" i said polite "i don't really have a chose."

"Dimitri, i asked it because i want you do it freewilly and you can say no if you want" she said.

"Okey i will do it, but how long will i have to stay there?" i asked gently.

"Only one week, that's not very long, but you have to go back every month" she said concerned. I nodded.

Lissa just said that i leave about 15 minutes and we took goodbye. I left the chambers, i was happy because it was only one week, but on the other side... every month! Rose will be suspecious if i will disepear every month.

I was ready to go. It was a long trip of 12 houres. An other Guardian of Queen Vasilisa drove the car, so i didn't have to drive and i just can take a nap.

I dreamed again about Rose, but this time was the dream very nice, VERY Nice.
