{Modern AU} [Kind Of More Like ASL]
"I'm ganna be late for dinner!" Luffy said, running in the rain.
He went over to Party Bar for a little bit to talk to Shanks but he stayed to long and now he had to run home.
"Excuse me!"
"Pardon me!"
"I'm sorry!"
He quickly excused himself everytime he bumped into someone.
As well as dinner, Garp was going to be home for 2 weeks and Luffy had to be there in time or else he would get the famous 'Fist Of Love.'
"*huff* I'm finally here!" Luffy yelled in relief.
"OW!"
"Huh? Who's there?" Luffy's eyes led to the bushes.
Silence.
"I swear I heard something." He mumbled, walking into the apartment.
And tumbling out of the bushes came a little girl.
4 at the least.
She was small. A little to small for her age.
She had two small pigtails. Her hair was (H/L) (H/C).
She seemed to be wearing a grey suspender skirt, black and white peter pan collar shirt with a black lined collar with a black ribbon.
Her knee seemed to had been scraped.
Little tears were forming in her eyes as she kept running and attempted to sneak into the apartment.
Unfortunately though, when she entered, Luffy was standing right in front of her.
"Were you the one who was making noises in the bushes?"
Tears rushed to the little girls eyes as she started crying. And she did it loudly too.
"AH! Umm! Hey! Hey! It's okay! AHHH! What did I do?! What's wrong?!" Luffy panicked.
"Um, Luffy?" Sabo sweat dropped at the scene in front of him while getting out the elevator.
"Why is there a little girl crying?" Ace said also stepping out of the elevator.
"I asked her a question and then she just started crying!" Luffy explained while trying to calm her down.
"Wow Luffy, never knew kids hated you so much-OW!" Ace joked until.....
Sabo hit him upside the head.
"She scraped her knee if you actually decided to look at her." Sabo walked over and crouched down to her height.
"Do you want us to help you?" He asked while pointing to the bleeding knee.
"Yes please..." The little girl replied in a hushed voice.
'Cute......~' All three brothers thought at the same time.
"A-alright then! C'mon Luffy, we going to the airport to pick up Gramps." Sabo said recollecting himself.
Sabo held his hand to the little girl and the little girls hand was only able to hold his pointer finger.
While walking out and heading to the car, Ace asked her a couple of questions.
"What's your name?"
"(Name)..." She said in her quiet voice.
"Alright (Name), how old are you?"
She put up 4 fingers.
"You're so little!" Luffy exclaimed.
They had finally gotten to Ace's car and put on the radio.
"Ugh. This song again!" Ace complained.
It was Countdown by Beyoncé.
"It plays at least a thousand times a day!" Ace whined.
Although on the other hand, (Name) had sparkling eyes and was shifting her legs to the beat.
Sabo turned around and looked at Luffy and (Name) in the back and saw that Luffy was holding (Name)'s little hands while dancing and she was as well.
"Looks like someone likes Queen B." Sabo chuckled.
"Wait, so if Garp isn't here, then I wouldn't have gotten the 'Fist Of Love' if I made it home late?" Luffy questioned.
"Nope." Ace said, popping the 'p'.
"WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME THAT SOONER?!"
They had finally gotten to the airport after a long drive.
Sabo picked up (Name) and started bandaging her leg. She wasn't bleeding that much and she had seemed to be able to stop the blood for a while during the trip.
They walked in, (Name) had always liked airports since she really never had gotten the chance to go to them. They started looking for Garp.
Honestly that would've been pretty easy since people usually stare at him.
They sat Luffy and (Name) down at one of the benches as they went over to Taco Bell to get everyone something to eat.
It was silent between the two for awhile.
"Who's Gawp?" The little girl said quietly.
"Garp? Oh yea! That's my grandpa." Luffy replied.
"What does he wook wike?"
"Well, he's tall, old, has a police hat on, huge, what else?" Luffy wondered on.
"Is that him?" (Name) said pulling on his finger and pointed to him.
"It is! Good eye! Now c'mon, let's go tell Sabo and Ace." He ruffled her hair.
He picked her up and ran to where Taco Bell was. To get Ace and Sabo. Not the tacos or burritos.
