Laura's POV

After I finished getting ready i smiled at my reflection. A half top with blue ripped skinny jeans. Someone started knocking on the door and as I began applying mascara. "It's open.'' I informed.

"Laura.." Ross said. I scoffed. "Can I help you?" I asked rudely. I put the cap on my mascara and tossed it into the makeup bag. "I'm sorry Laur, I really am." he said following me as I exited the bathroom. "Mhm, sure." I said half listening.

"Hear me out Laura!" he exclaimed. "Nows not a good time, in fact there may never be another good time. I'm going shopping with my girls, don't wait up." I informed him as I ran to the door and made my way outside.

Raquel was parked along the curb. I chuckled as I got in. "Cause it was so hard to pull into the driveway?" I said rhetorically. "Girl yes, I don't have time." she said playfully rolling her eyes.

I was messing with her radio as she answered her phone. "Hello?" "Yeah, LAURA is here in the car so i'll be there in a few minutes NIKKI." she said sternly before hanging up. "Why so much emphasis on my name?" I asked confused.

".. She uh, asked if I had picked up Dora . she thought your name was Dora, yeah." she said sounding unsure but I shrugged it off.

2 hours later

"So Laura , what are you doing down here?" Tiana asked as the four of us entered Forever 21 with our Starbucks.

"Nosey people be like!" Raquel exclaimed. I chuckled and playfully rolled my eyes. "I'm a stranger who unexpectedly came along with you guys, of course she has questions dummy." I joked.

"But I'm down here on vacation with my .. family you could say." I answered before taking another sip of my drink. She nodded and flashed a smile.

"OO!" Nikki cheered as she ran over to a dress she spotted. "Sexy or nah?" she asked holding it up to her frame and striking poses. I smiled. "It's cute." I stated. She groaned. "See cute isn't working for me, Im going for sexy." she said placing the dress back on the rack.

I hummed quietly scanning the store. I spotted a blue strapless and walked over to it. I reached for it when Raquel stopped me. "Whoa, you sure you can rock this chica?" she asked teasingly.

I scoffed and scanned it. "It's a little edgy but .. it's worth a try, right? hold my stuff I'm gonna go try it on." I said handing her my clutch before taking the dress along with me to the dressing room.

Raquel's POV

I was standing there blankly when Nikki and Tiana came up behind me. "Girl, I know you felt played but is this really what you want to do?" Nikki asked staring at me sympathetically.

"Dude, I don't know anymore. I popped up with that being my main focus and determination. But it turned into something .. real I guess?" I rambled on feeling confused.

"I felt awkward as hell getting in that car today, knowing what was planned from the jump. I was in this as much as you were, hating that this chick stole my Best friend's guy. After those real conversations we were having .. she doesn't deserve it, any of it." Tiana lectured.

"How does it look?" Laura exclaimed as she skipped out of the dressing room. We all gasped, She really was rocking that dress. I'm impressed. "Impressive Laur." I said with a weak smile.

"I know, huh." she agreed giving us a twirl. "It's gorgeous Laura." "Now that my friend, is sexy." Nikki and Tiana complimented.

Laura laughed and made her way back into the dressing room. They're right, I can't go through with this.

1 hour later

Laura's POV

"Ok, so I'm gonna go in and get my makeup and I'll be out in a sec." I promised. "You can take your time, seriously there is no rush." Nikki assured me chuckling. Raquel gasped and turned to her. "Ahem, you're not the one behind the wheel. I call the shots." She said smirking.

"With your record, we know the kind of SHOTS you call." Nikki said emphasizing shots to make it clear she was referring to alcohol. I laughed aloud as I got out the car and walked up the street to the house.

I entered the house to find Ross sitting on the couch. Perfect. I said under my breath. ".. Hey." he said awkwardly. "Don't make this any more awkward than it already is,kay?" I said avoiding eye contact and going to the room.

"Hey stranger." Rydel greeted once she glanced up. I breathed heavily. "Hi Del." I said half heartedly. "Did I say something to irritate you just now? cause I literally only said hi." she said lifting her hands in surrender.

"Hi stranger, to be exact. but no it's not you I'm just distracted." I assured her. "Distracted? is it cause you and Ross are feeling that love connection again?" she asked cooing. I literally slammed my phone down on the bed at the mention of his name.

She was frightened by the sudden movement. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. "Your brother has not a damn thing to do with my distraction, guaranteed." I basically lied through my teeth. He has everything to do with my distraction,disgust,and hatred at the moment.

"Laura, you just went completely devilish.. you're not fine." she said coming to the conclusion. I scoffed. "Obviously not, but congratulations. not even my sister noticed and I was bawling my eyes out for an hour today in the shower. not that I wanted her in my business." I declared.

"What the hell happened?" she asked concerned. I grabbed my makeup bag and stuck my flat iron inside. "Let's just say, to some people. others virginity .. is a game." and with that, I was out.
