* 2 Weeks Later*

When I woke up I saw Nate wasn't beside me, I was sort of confused but I went to the bathroom anyway. I finished up washing my hands and looked in the mirror wondering why my period hadn't come last week and thought maybe it was just late.

I walked into the kitchen and saw him making breakfast and walked up behind him hugging him. I kissed his cheek and saw him smile at me as he continued to make the eggs. As he finished up he placed our plates down on the table and we sat down to eat. As we ate our breakfast I kept looking at Nate and he looked at me confused asking, "What's wrong?" I tried to smile and looked down saying, "I don't know, maybe I'm just stressed." Nate asked, "Stressed about what?" I scoffed, "I have no idea." He then asked, "Is there something you wanna talk about?" I replied, "My period is late." Nate looked at me sort of surprised and he said, "Maybe you're pregnant." I widened my eyes and said, "We're too young." Nate said back, "Well for younger couples it is easier to become pregnant." I shook my head and said, "My parents are gonna be so mad." Nate scoffed, "You do realize we're married and they don't have a say whether we are pregnant or not." I replied, "I know, but they want me to complete college." Nate said, "Maybe you still can." I asked, "How can I? You might go back on tour and if I go back to college who would take care of our baby." Nate said, "We could go on paternity leave when the time comes." I sighed and said, "Okay, maybe it will be fine."

~Later

After we washed our plates, I felt dizzy and went to our bedroom and went to the bathroom staring at myself in the mirror. I breathed deeply and then I grabbed onto the sink, but my grip was too loose and I slipped falling to the floor suddenly seeing nothing but darkness.

When I woke up again I saw I was in the hospital. I sat up and winced at the pain I felt in my head. Then a nurse came in with a clipboard and smiled at me warmly. She said, "Hello Mrs. Feuerstein, how do you feel now?" I replied, "My head still hurts." The nurse said, "You probably just need water." She went into the bathroom and filled a cup with water and gave it to me to drink. I did sip it and asked, "Why did I faint?" The nurse replied, "You're pregnant." I smiled slightly and asked, "How far along am I?" She smiled and said, "You're 2-3 weeks along." After she sat down and said, "Now, I will need to ask you some questions." I asked, "Can my husband be in here?" The nurse said, "Sure, let me go get him." When she left the room I relaxed more and sighed leaning my head against my pillow. Then Nate came in and I smiled at him, he then walked up to me and gave me a gentle hug and whispered, "I love you." I said back, "I love you too." After Nate sat down in the chair next to my bed and the nurse said, "We can start now." I nodded and braced myself for awkward questions. The first question was, "When did you first start your period?" I answered, "I started at 11 years old." She wrote that down and then her next question was, "When did you first become sexually active?" I replied, "On our wedding night." The nurse smiled slightly at me and Nate smiled too. She asked, "Is it the same for you?" Nate nodded and the nurse exclaimed, "Wow, this is the first in a long time any couple has told me they waited." I felt pretty proud of myself considering how beautiful Nate is, I mean I had to control myself plenty of times before. Suddenly the next question brought me back to reality when I heard the nurse ask, "So, since your first time have you had oral sex?" I blushed not really wanting to answer, but I felt relieved when Nate answered, "No, we haven't." I looked up at him and saw his jaw clenched tensely while the nurse wrote that down. I replied, "I am not comfortable with that kind of...thing." The nurse nodded and wrote that down too. After her questions were over she said, "The doctor will be in soon to give you information on what to eat regularly until your baby is born." We nodded and then the nurse left. Nate smiled at me and hugged me and I hugged back. He pulled away and kissed my head and asked, "Are you excited?" I nodded, but then I winced again taking a drink of the water realizing my headache hadn't gone away. I laid back on my pillow and rested until the doctor came in. He gave the information and handed Nate the menu of the foods to eat and said, "Good luck, I will check you out and you can leave as soon as you're ready." He left and we started to pack up.
