Chapter Four

I quickly pulled my phone out of my pocket and dialed Liam’s number. (Thank goodness we had exchanged before we left the house!) He immediately answered. “Oh thank God! Claire, what do we do?” He shouted into the receiver.

“Bring your cart up to checkout and leave it next to us. I will give you the keys and you can get in the car. Drive to the back of the store where the girls can’t see you. We will meet you there when we finish buying the food.” Within a few minutes we saw the boys running up to the checkout lanes followed by a bunch of girls. Niall shoved their cart at us (almost hitting Hannah in the process) and grabbed the car keys. As quickly as they came they were gone along with the twenty girls that were following them.

“They will have to drive around in circles for a while before they lose all of those girls,” Katie said while laughing.

After twenty minutes we had finished checking out and we made our way to the back of the store. We snuck out an employee exit and say my white Range Rover sitting in a parking space. We walked over to the car and opened the trunk. “You guys get to put the groceries in since we had to pay for them,” I say laughed at the guys’ expressions.

“That’s too much work! There are three full carts!” Harry shouted.

“I know so you better start loading.” Hannah said. They all begrudgingly got out of the car and started putting groceries in the trunk. “By the way,” Hannah said smugly,” you get to bring these in the house too.”

Once we got home we pulled back into the garage and hopped out of the car. The girls and I walked into the house and flopped down on the couch. But oddly the boys followed us in. “What are you doing?” Katie asked when they sat down.

“Sitting down?” Zayn answered confusedly.

“No you aren’t, you are bringing the groceries in. Make sure the fans don’t see you. We don’t want any more surrounding our house.” I reminded while laughing. The boys all slowly made their way back into the garage and started carrying the bags in and setting them on the counter. Meanwhile Katie, Hannah, and I started to unload the bags and put the food away.

Thirty minutes later we had finished putting away all of the groceries. By this time it was already noon. “Well it’s too late for breakfast so I will make us some lunch. I will buzz you when it is finished. Until then, go do something productive.”

“Buzz?” Liam asked. The boys looked confused.

“We have an intercom system that connects all of the buildings so we can talk to each other without walking from building to building.” I informed them.

Liam turned to Katie. “Can we borrow some athletic clothes and use the gym?” The other boys nodded looking at Katie for an answer.

“Sure come upstairs and I will give you all something to wear.” They all started up the stairs. Hannah walked up the stairs probably going to her room to change. She had to rehearse for a big show that was coming up soon.
