Chapter Three
My eyes scanned across the room. It was a mess. Pillows and clothes were thrown all over the place and the boys were running around wearing my bras and underwear.
“What are you doing with my undergarments?” I shrieked looking around at the mess. The boys froze and turned towards me with wide eyes.
“We were just messing around,” Harry says looking at the other boys for backup. They all nodded frantically.
“We don’t get to eat or leave this house until my room is completely clean,” I say looking around menacingly, “So if you boys are hungry I suggest you start now. I will be in the other room doing Hannah’s makeup. Come find me if you don’t know where something goes.” I grabbed one of my small blankets to cover her outfit and keep it from getting covered with makeup and walked out of my room. Hannah was standing there trying to hide her laughter. “Well? Do you still want your makeup done? Let’s go!” I walked her over to my makeup chair.
First, I pulled her hair out of her face so I wouldn’t get any makeup on it. Then I started with her makeup. I kept her face makeup natural with only slight contouring and blushing, I gave her a gold smoky eye with black eye liner with a small wing. I finished the look with a nude lip color and black mascara.
When I finished her makeup I moved on to her hair. First, I plugged in my curling iron so it could heat up. Then, I brushed through her hair lightly and parted it down one side. I pulled her hair back into a ponytail at the back of her head. I grabbed my curling iron and curled all of the hair in the ponytail. When I finished I sprayed her hair with hairspray so it would last the whole day.
“Let’s go check on Katie to see what is taking her so long,” I say to Hannah after I realized Katie still hasn’t come downstairs. She nodded and we started up the stairs. Once we got onto Katie’s level of the house we went straight to her closet knowing that’s where we would find her.
“Katie what is taking you so long?” Hannah asked a flustered looking Katie. Her closet was a mess clothes covered her floor and random articles of clothing were strewn over clothing racks randomly.
“I can’t find anything to wear,” Katie screamed looking around her closet frantically. While Hannah tried to calm her down I walked around her closet grabbing things I went. I picked up a black dress with a daisy pattern on it, a white loose knit sweater, a brown hat and a necklace and sunnies to accessorize. The sunglasses were also meant to disguise her when we went out in public. I walked over and handed Katie the outfit.
“What about shoes? You didn’t pick out shoes!” Katie exclaimed. I walked over to her shoe rack and grabbed a pair of white Keds. “Oh my goodness! This is perfect!” Katie squealed after she put her outfit on. “Will you do my hair and makeup?” She asked.
“Sure. Come downstairs we can check on the boys too.” The girls and I headed downstairs where I sat Katie down in the same chair Hannah was just in and covered her outfit with the blanket. I pulled Katie’s hair back with a headband and started with her makeup.
For Katie’s makeup I left her with light face coverage with slight contouring and blushing and covered her eye lids with a thick layer of white eye shadow. Then I lined her eyes with a brown eye liner and put on a brown mascara. I finished the look with a deep red lipstick. “Perfect,” I said, “now onto your hair.”
Before starting on Katie’s hair I plugged in my curling iron so it could heat up. Then, I pulled he headband out of Katie’s hair and ran a brush through it. I parted her hair down one side and started curling it. After I curled all of her hair I pulled her bangs back and pinned them to the side. I grabbed her hat from her hands and put it on her head.
“Perfect. Now let’s go see if the boys are finished cleaning my room.” We walked into my room to see it perfectly spotless and the guys were sitting on my bed playing on their phones. “This room looks great. Are you ready to go to the grocery?” They all nodded.
“Make sure you have your hats and sunglasses so no one recognizes us.” I ran into my room and grabbed a loose knit, oversized grey cardigan, a grey beanie, and purple Ray Ban sunglasses. I also got Hannah a pair of gold aviator style sunglasses and walked out to meet everyone. “Here wear these so no one recognizes you.” Hannah grabbed the sunglasses and put them on the top of her head.
We all walked out to the garage and got into my white Range Rover. I pulled out of the garage and went the back way so none of the fans would see us. After a quick five minute drive to the grocery store we pulled into the parking lot and parked in a parking spot. We all put on our sunglasses and hats and got out of the car.
When we walked into the grocery store I got a cart and started going down the aisles. As we were going everyone started putting things into the cart. By the time we finished going through two aisles we had already finished filling half of the cart. It was only then that I noticed the cart was filled with only junk food. “We are not getting all of this!” I exclaimed. The girls and I like to eat mostly healthy food so getting all of this junk food was not a possibility. “Go put some of this back” I threw one of the three bags of potato chips out of the cart and into Liam’s hands and some of the ten bags of candy at Niall’s face. A pack of hot dogs and three boxes of fruit snacks followed soon after.
“I brought the list of everything we need to buy. Give the boys that cart and we will go get a new one,” Hannah said. She summoned Niall over and gave him the cart. “Get anything you want but you’re paying for the junk food.” She said.
Katie, Hannah, and I walked over to the cart dock and grabbed an empty cart. We state walking towards the produce section and began filling the cart. We put in lettuce, celery, apples, pears, tomatoes, and bananas. “We can’t forget the carrots!” I shout and ran towards the carrots. I grabbed five bags of baby carrots and three bunches of whole large carrots. I ran over to Hannah and Katie and tossed the carrots into the cart.
After we finished in the produce department we walked over to the deli. We got a pound of turkey and two pounds of ground beef. After we got our orders from the deli we finished going through the aisles and grabbed a few other things. By the time we made it back to the front of the store we had filled the cart to the brim and could barely push it.
“Let’s go check out. I think we have everything and this cart is so heavy I can barely push it.” Katie said. We started up towards the cash register. We were almost done checking out when we heard a scream.
“Oh no’” Hannah said, “Please tell me that isn’t about who I think it is.”
