you said you were ready. at the time, when you were courting me, you said you were ready for a relationship. you said you wanted a relationship with me. and i gladly accepted your courtship. but i wouldn't have if i really knew.

you weren't ready. you told yourself that because you were tired of just watching from the sidelines. you weren't ready, you were jealous of the other guys.

why did you lie?

you put us— both —in a position we weren't ready for.

i accepted because i thought you were ready, or so i was told. i liked you. hell, i loved you. and i loved you so much to be blinded by your assuring mask. i believed you when you said you were ready.
