I explain a lot of Huntress stuff in this chapter. Sorry if you get lost or bored. I won't be visiting the Huntresses very much once I visit the world of werewolves, vampires and...hellhounds. There I've said too much. (No need to fear romance readers!) <---I need to shut up. I'll go now. Comment, vote, tell me I have a reader. Please? o,o Anyways, it'll get more exciting, I PROMISE...I'm not shutting up....I'll go now....

It was a terrible feeling. The werewolves wanted humans to retain their rights, while vampires wanted "sheep." Allyson knew she should be cheering for vampires. Survival of the fittest, besides if The Council was with werewolves, it would be very dangerous, dangerous and messy. With vampires it would be clean and The Council could continue to fulfill it purpose. To deliver justice.
Justice. If The Council didn't deliver justice did it really have a purpose? Or were we just a bunch of magical pests?
" The Soul Huntress is ready to vote," the calm and clear voice of the Huntress of Thoughts rang through the clearing.
Every eye was suddenly on Allyson. What? She hadn't decided yet. She was not ready. She needed to think, to deliberate, to make sure her choice was right-
Again, her internal thoughts were interrupted by a low chuckle. The female bitch who stole her boyfriend. Allyson wouldn't bother to learn her name; she wasn't that important.
Allyson stood up. The vampire needed to know who she was dealing with. Allyson took off her gloves, and stood up. She was just wearing jeans and a graphic tee, nothing powerful, nothing intimidating or "hot". Still, the bitch looked at her arm and her eyes went big.
The pit of her stomach boiled with satisfaction, 'Be afraid, be very afraid,'. But, reality caught up with her, she still had to vote.
" After long deliberation of which side of this particular argument The Council should take I have decided-" Allyson started, her mouth formed around the word 'vampire'.
" Werewolves, we must deliver justice, as is our responsibility," Allyson finished, her mouth almost numb.
She suddenly registered several reactions at once. The vampire huddle, which consisted of three vampires, was frozen, and Richard was looking at her. The werewolves were equally frozen, but not in fear, in shock. Then slow smiles started to grow on their faces. They looked like teenage boys whose favorite football team just won a game, giant teenage boys.
The council also had reactions, and Allyson understood she had made friends and enemies with her sisters.
The Huntress of Thoughts wasn't, of course, surprised. She just looked at Allyson with gray eyes and nodded.
Next to her was the Power Huntress. Her mahogany curls framed her brown eyes. There wasn't anything special about the way she looked, but something made Allyson look at her. And she looked angry. She didn't want this.
After her was the Huntress of Sensations and the Primal Instinct. She was glowing, her dark chocolate skin vibrant. She smiled at Allyson. Allyson remembered, the Huntress had a werewolf mate.
Next to her was the Secret Huntress. Her sunglasses covered her face and her thick brown hair covered her shoulders. Nothing would be revealed by her face, but she did vote for vampires. The Secret Huntress scared Allyson the most. She was very old, very powerful and no one knew exactly what she could do.
Then, of course, the Huntress of Truth and Balance. Her deep tan skin and large musty curls were intimidating. Like when you walk in a room next to a super model, you just look ugly next to her. She had a smile on her face that revealed perfect white teeth.
The next two were elementals. The Fire Huntress and the Huntress of Earth. They looked alike, but different. They both had curly red hair, but The Fire Huntress had a golden hint and was wild and frizzy. The Huntress of Earth's hair was glossy, smooth and in large perfect curls. Their eyes were the biggest difference, The Fire Huntress had amber, while the Huntress of Earth had green. The Huntress of Earth seemed pleased, while the Fire Huntress was...burning and glaring at Allyson.
The middle (But not really middle because there was only thirteen chairs and their chairs attempted to "split center".) two chairs belonged to the most powerful and the leaders of The Council. The Light Huntress and the Huntress of Darkness. Their forms were always changing, but in their faces, they didn't look happy, or not happy, just interested.
The last two elementals. The Air Huntress and the Huntress of Water. The Air Huntress had white hair and almost no irises. She looked disinterested and trapped. The Huntress of Water looked distracted and playful. She was full blooded Japanese and flaunted her natural beauty in the serious atmosphere.
Next to Allyson was Jasmine, the Monster Huntress, and the only Huntress that was closest to Allyson's age. Jasmine was the only Huntress Allyson knew the name of. They were friends, and Jasmine looked at Allyson with surprise, but not anger. Both vampire and werewolf were her "children", she didn't like the war at all. Exterminating species is what had killed the previous Monster Huntress.
" The Council has made it's decision and it is final," The Huntress of Thoughts announced.
" W-why do you speak for T-t-he C-council?" A rash vampire asked.
" Because I know what they are thinking," The Huntress of Thoughts answered without emotion.
" And I thought it'd be obvious, but what can you expect?" The Fire Huntress "whispered" to the Huntress of Earth.
The Huntress of Earth just giggled.
Allyson felt powers of death raising in the clearing. She had five seconds. Allyson reached out with her power and grabbed Richard's soul before the vampires were exterminated. She needed to confront him.
Old anger rose inside her, she had been with him for the five long years of training before the war and becoming a Huntress. He had been her lifeboat, her salvation. And Allyson was mad, mad and powerful.
So, she took his soul and eternally damned it. To always be with her, under her control.
----------------------------------
After the meeting, the Huntress of Thoughts came up to her.
" Yes?" Allyson asked, annoyed, today had been the worst day of her life.
" What do you know about being a Huntress?" The older Huntress asked.
" Why ask questions you know the answers to?" Allyson countered.
" Do you know why the Soul Huntress or Huntress of Souls goes insane?" The Huntress of Thoughts asked persistently.
Allyson gritted her teeth. This was a painful subject, her sanity.
" Because we have power, we must have balance. The Power Huntress and I. The Monster Huntress and The Huntress of Sensations and the Primal Instinct. The Secret Huntress and The Huntress of Truth and Balance. The list continues. But you-" The Huntress began ranting.
" Don't have a balance?" Allyson offered.
The Huntress of Thoughts gave last words of advice before walking away, " A soul is complete, balanced and very powerful. Be balanced. Have soul."
" Got soul?" Allyson asked herself once the other Huntress disappeared.
Per usual, her internal epiphany was interrupted. " Lets meet werewolves!" Jasmine squealed from behind Allyson.
