Hidden behind smiles and laughter,
We lay in a distorted world,
Like we are underwater
We feel away from the world but with it at the same time.
Existing, if only for a moment, in silence
A big ball of contradiction is
The pain we endure. The sinful acts committed are ignored,
Caring acts aren't rewarded.
Has it really come to the point where we don't help each other through.
We are left to face this world alone.
Left alone to deal with
The pain we endure.I lay awake at night
The blistering silence pressing;
Consuming me.
Left to contemplate every thing that I've done wrong
What makes you ask what is wrong with me is
The pain we endureNo one tells you as a child,
No one tells you of the hate one can hold for themselves.
No one tells you of the numb pain one can experience.
No fairy tale tells you of the way young, innocence is taken away.
No fairy tale holds the truth of
The pain we endure.
