Chapter 5

"Because you've been cheating on me" Jimin stated.

"What?" Tori exclaimed unable to believe that since it wasn't true.

"Ah don't play dumb okay. Media has caught you 'hanging around' some guy a lot since before Min Jun was 1" Jimin said stepping closer to her.

Tori could feel the hurt and anger coming off Jimin in that moment, but she was 100% sure she never cheated. But she did know who he was talking about.

"I never cheated on you Jimin" Tori said calmly even though she was kind of scared of angry Jimin. "He's a—"Tori tried to explain but was cut off.

"I don't give a shit about your excuses. What the media caught looks pretty real, so you don't have to lie about it" Jimin said in a louder voice but still seemed to be concerned about the sleeping child in the next room.

"Jimin I—"Tori was cut off when Jimin forcefully pull her to the door.

She was standing just outside of the door frame when Jimin slammed the door in her face.

Tori stood there for a second, not quiet comprehending what just happened. If only Jimin would let her explain maybe he wouldn't be so mad.

He was making such a big deal out of something so small.

Remember back when Tori was sent to Japan for drunkenly almost kissing Jimin in a bar? Well the guy Jimin thinks Tori is cheating on him with was the friend she talked to. This guy friend has been her friend for years and she knows for an absolute fact he would never try anything with her.

If only Jimin would let her explain...

Tori went back to the spare room still in slight shock from the door and climbed into bed, waking Min Jun. (Geez she really needs to learn how to get in bed carefully)

"What's wrong mama?" Min Jun asked softy bring one of his small hand up to her cheek.

Tori only then realised that she must have let some tears out when the door got slammed in her face. A small smile formed on her face looking at her concerned son.

"I'm okay Min Jun... I'm just sleepy. Let's go to sleep" Tori said quietly.

Min Jun nodded his head and Tori kissed his forehead before relaxing to sleep.

She found it difficult to sleep. All she could think about was Jimin and how he was mad over something she never did, and never would do.

'If only he'd hear me out' Tori thought as she slowly drifted off to sleep.

Jimin got home late as usual. It had been a couple days since that night and Jimin was still trying to avoid talking to Tori about anything. She attempted to talk a few times but Jimin always ignored her excuses and went to bed.

But this night was different. Jimin normally got home late and Tori would be in the kitchen or living room, but she wasn't.

Jimin looked in the kitchen and Tori hadn't left any dinner for him like she usually would.

'Maybe she's finally ignoring me?' Jimin thought to himself as he continued to walk thought his apartment.

The bathroom was empty. Jimin guessed Tori probably already gave Min Jun a bath and he was already in bed. He walked further down the hallway and saw the spare room door was slightly open.

Jimin walked up to it and opened it. Tori was standing at the foot of the bed folding clothes and placing them in a suitcase.

"What are you doing?" Jimin asked confused.

Tori turned to look at him, surprised to see him but went back to packing.

"Tori? Where's Min Jun?" Jimin asked walking into the room, standing next to her.

"Why does it matter, Jimin?" Tori said annoyed looking back up at Jimin.

"It matters because he's my son and he should be here with me and you."

"It didn't seem to matter to you yesterday or the day before, so why should it matter now?" Tori said going back to packing.

"Tori" Jimin said trying to turn her around by grabbing her shoulder.

"What Jimin?" Tori said loudly and more annoyed, pushing his hand away. "I've been trying to talk to you for days and once I stop trying you all of a sudden want a conversation? Well it's not going to happen. Min Jun and I are going to go stay somewhere else and we'll both be out of your hair in a month, okay."

"What, you can't just leave? Where will you go?" Jimin asked.

Tori sighed, "We're staying with Hoseok for a couple days until I find a hotel. That's were Min Jun is now" Tori said slightly calmer.

"You were just going to leave without telling me" Jimin said slightly hurt at the thought.

"Well you haven't talked to me in days, when would I be able to tell you?" Tori stated placing a T-shirt in the suitcase.

"Can you stop packing and talk to me for a second?" Jimin said raising his voice slightly.

"Why Jimin? So you can accuse me of cheating again? So I can watch you close another door in my face because you wouldn't let me explain?" Tori said also raising her voice.

"Fine, explain if that's going to make you stay" Jimin said hoping it might change her mind.

Tori shook her head, "I've been trying to explain for the last few days. Why should I now? Because you might lose Min Jun if I don't? Maybe you should have thought about that before you slammed a door in my face" Tori said turning back to the suitcase.

"Tori please... I'm sorry, just please don't leave" Jimin pleaded. He was hurt by her words but understood that he was the reason this was all happening. He couldn't let it happen though.

Tori looked at his face for a moment. She was trying to figure out if he was actually sorry and would listen or just trying not to lose Min Jun. Part of her wanted to stay and explain but she didn't know if he would understand and be friendly with her after.

"I can't stay..." Tori said softly before closing the suitcase and putting it on the floor.

She couldn't even look at Jimin as she walked out of the room.

'Why explain when he can just hurt me again?'
