Growing Secrets | Park Jimin

Chapter 9

Jimin was in his room, laying on his bed scrolling through twitter. He had got home about half an hour ago. Tori wasn't waiting for him in the kitchen or living room so he just went to his room. He had a quick shower before putting a T-shirt and a pair of trackies on.

He wanted to go and talk to Tori about that morning but was worried that she would reject him and just want to be friends. Also he didn't know if she was awake or asleep.

Whilst in his thoughts he heard a soft voice over by the door.

"Jimin?" Tori questioned while peering into the room. She had only opened the door slightly, enough to see in the room. She didn't want to wake Jimin if he'd already fallen asleep.

Jimin put his phone down and sat up on the bed, crossing his legs in the process, waiting for her to speak again.

Tori, seeing Jimin awake, entered the room completely and closed the door behind her.

"I wanted to ask you a question" Tori said slowly making her way to the bed.

"Mm" Jimin hummed, getting nervous as she got closer.

"Is it okay if I sleep in here tonight?" Tori asked.

Jimin was taken off guard by the request. He thought she was going to tell him that the almost kiss from that morning was a mistake or something worse. He couldn't form an answer for her.

Tori smiled at Jimin's reaction. She had a feeling he would be surprised especially because of how guarded she had been toward him recently.

"I'll take that as a yes?" She said.

Jimin, who was lost in his own thoughts, snapped out once she spoke.

"Of course" he said and watched as she moved to sit on the side of the bed. "Is there still a no cuddling rule?" He questioned while looking at the side of her face. He saw a small smile form on her face.

"No..." Tori said quietly before turning to look at Jimin.

A smile formed on Jimin's face. He moving closer to her, so now one of his feet was on the floor and his other leg was around Tori. He softly placed his hands around her and his chin on her shoulder.

By this time Tori was looking down but could still see Jimin in the corner of her eye.

Jimin lifted his head off her shoulder before speaking. "Can I ask you something now?"

Tori turned her head to look at him before nodding.

"Will you be my girlfriend again?" Jimin asked looking from Tori's eyes to her lips.

Tori smiled at the question. Even though she knew her answer she sat still just watching Jimin. He was slowly inching closer to her, as if knew the answer as well.

When he was mere millimetres away from her lips, Tori said; "Yes"

The kiss was soft. Nothing too heavy, it was just a kiss.

After it was over Jimin rested his forehead on Tori's, while Tori had cupped Jimin's cheeks.

"I missed you" she said softly. She could feel the smile form on Jimin's face.

"I missed you too Tori" he said back before leaning in for another kiss.

Before he could do anything else the door creaked open.

"Mama?" Min Jun questioned walked into the room.

Jimin put his forehead on Tori shoulder as she looked over at the boy. He realised then that it will be hard to do anything further than kiss without Min Jun possibly walking in.

"Yes baby" Tori said as Min Jun walked further into Jimin's room.

"Are you sleeping over in Jimin's room again?" he questioned.

Tori hear a small laugh come from Jimin before he looked up at Min Jun.

"Yes Min Jun. Mama's going to be having lots of sleep over's in my room" Jimin answered, tightening his arms around Tori slightly.

Min Jun's eyebrows furrowed at this. "But I want to have sleep over's too" he exclaimed.

Tori smiled at the boy. He was so adorable.

"How about you sleep over tonight and then tomorrow you sleep in the other bed?" Tori suggested.

The boy's face light up as he nodded quickly.

No one said anything while they got into bed. They were in the same positions as the night before but Tori was on her side facing Min Jun, watching him fall asleep.

Jimin, who had got up from bed to finish getting ready, came back and laid behind Tori. He placed an arm around her pulling her body closed to him and snuggled his face into Tori's neck, placing a soft kiss.

"Goodnight Jimin" Tori said quietly making him stop.

"Goodnight Tori" he said before moving to turn off the lights.
