I woke up by the sun rays beaming down on my face. I rubbed my eyes open. Did I fall asleep here?

I checked my phone and it read eight-thirty one am. I didn't bother checking any notifications, nobody special like the boys would text me. I wondered if they had worried overnight.

I would've been home if they did, my thoughts answered. Where do I go now?

Suddenly, I heard footsteps, causing me to look back. Nothing. I shrugged it off and unlocked my phone. I opened an app called Sketch Book, beginning to draw the pond in front of me.

After a few minutes, a voice from behind the tree startled me, "That's a good drawing."

I turned around, a bit shocked - also a bit frightened - and saw a girl about my age. "Thanks. . ." I replied. She smiled kindly.

"You're welcome - um. . . I'm Riley," She greeted quietly. The girl was super shy, I could tell.

"Hello Riley, I'm Lilly," I greeted politely. No need to be too friendly, she could be a murderer for all I know.

"Aren't you One Direction's sister?" Riley asked another fan.

"Yeah, but don't start a mob," I half-joked, internally praying she wouldn't scream. Thankfully, she only giggled a bit and I smiled.

"Where are the boys?" The girl asked, curious. My face dropped. What do I say?

"Where are the boys?" I asked. A split second later, something seemed to ruin her mood. Did do something wrong?

"I'm sorry - I didn't mean to hurt your feelings!" I apologized, desperately trying to gain her forgiveness. The girl only shook her head.

"No, it's not you, it's just. . . I - me - and the boys just had a little fight, so I, uh, I kinda ran away," Lilly replied, looking away, seeming ashamed.

Ran away? Did she sleep here? In this weather? "Did you sleep here, at the park?" I asked, worried. She nodded, solemnly.

My chest tightened for her as sympathy flowed through me. "You should go home, Lilly. You can get hurt or sick. You probably are sick," I told her as she nodded.

"I know, I want to, but I don't know how to - I don't know how to talk to them. . ?" She replied, more of a question than a statement.

Well, I can't just leave her here. Let's pray she's not an imposter. . .

"If you want, you can stay at my house, then we can both go to your house when you're ready and I'll help you with the boys. I can't leave you here." I noticed a bit of hesitation as I quickly added, "I'm not a serial killer, I swear."

She smiled. "That's what serial killers say," She joked before standing, "But, okay. if you say so. If you actually turn out to be one, tell everyone I love them and I lived an amazing life!" I laughed as she embraced me in a hug. I felt her cold hands and immediately threw her my gloves.
