I woke up at 9:30 am. I always wake up first and cook breakfast. I walked down the stairs and went into the kitchen. Getting all the things ready, I placed the ingredients on the table and started cooking pancakes.

An hour later, I got the breakfast done and I called the boys and Lilly down to eat. Three boys came tumbling down the stairs.

"Niall, the food is not going anywhere, Zayn, watch where you're going, and Harry, calm down," I scolded the three. "Wait, wheres Lilly and Lou?" I asked.

They shrugged and began eating. A few minutes later, the siblings grudged down the stairs. "What's up?" I asked them, as they lazily sat down at the breakfast table.

Lilly mumbled something incoherent, her head falling onto the table. She must be really sleepy. Well, she did have a rough night.

     "What?" All of us asked.

"Never mind..." She replied, barely hearing her response from under her arms as she tried to go back to sleep.

"Young lady, take your head off the table and eat your food," I scolded her.

Lilly did as I told and ate her food. A few minutes later, we all finished eating, except Lilly.

I noticed she was eating slowly today. Actually, she wasn't eating at all. She was just picking at her food.

The boys went outside, to who knows where, and I stayed at the table in front of Lilly.

"Lilly, why aren't you eating?" I asked her, softly. She stayed silent. "Lilly," I called again, getting more serious.

She looked up at me. Her face showed no emotion, but her eyes were the total opposite of her ocean blue ones. They were darker than usual and held a clear emotion inside of them. Sadness.

"It's just... we - I - never got to, ya know, celebrate my birthday..." She replied, slowly.

I felt terrible. We did forget her birthday.

"Lilly, I'm-" I started, but she was already gone. She went upstairs and locked herself in her room. I feel like I should win one of the 'Worst Brother Ever' award.

I felt bad, telling Liam that, but he wanted the truth. I also felt really spoiled, lots of kids don't get to celebrate their birthday, let alone know when it is. But here I am, in my room, feeling a bit mad at the boys because of my missed birthday. I'm such a spoiled brat.

I decided to tell Liam and the boys that I didn't mean it. I was just sad about something else. Which, I kinda was.

Walking down the stairs, I figured the other boys were no longer in the game room. Shrugging, I slowly made my way to the living room, still debating what I should tell them. I was about to walk into the living room when I heard them talking.

"We need to do something. I feel horrible for not celebrating her birthday," Liam told them, his voice sad. I eyed their little conversation over the stairs, staying hidden as possible.
