Jungkook's POV:

I groaned as I woke up. My head began to throb in pain. I slowly open my eyes and adjust to my surrounding. I hissed in pain when I moved my feet. I noticed it bleed. As I caught up on what was going on, I heard the door open.

A man came in. He looks a little..... Old. He looked at me and smirked. After awhile, 2 mens with black shirts came in. They bow to the old man and stood beside him. One on the left side and the other one on the right.

"So, looks like the heir to the Jeon Industry has finally awoken." the old man said.

I breathe heavily. My head still throbbing in pain.

"What- who-, *pants* who are you, what do you want?" I asked. More like a whisper.

He walked towards me and bend down to my level.

"I want you're money!" he demanded. I laughed sarcasticly and shook my head.

"Bastard," he said and punched me, making my head turn to the right.

I smirked,

"That all you got?" i was shock to where all of this confidence came from.

"Aish!"

*Punch*

"Enough!!!" a female voice shouted.

I spit out the blood and we all drew our attention at her. Except the man who punched me. He just smirked.

"You lucky bastard," he whispered.

"By the way, you're parents are here...." he came closer to my ears.

"....and so is your daughter." he laughed like a maniac and turned around.

Wait...

"Lisa..." i breathed out. She looked at me for a second then turn to the old man.

"Darling Lisa! What are you doing here?" he said as he put his hands to his pocket.

Lisa, she... She crossed her arms over her chest.

"This was not on the plan Dad!" she yelled out.

"Dad??" I asked as I look at her. She gave me a 'I'll-explain-it-to-you-later' look. I nod and looked down.

I feel, dissappointed. What has she become? Is she even the Lisa that I knew?

Tears welled up in my eyes. Was she the girl I loved before? Because the Lisa I knew, would never do this.

Without me knowing, the door of the room opens and closed back. Once I look up, all I see is Lisa, standing infront of me, looking down.

"Lisa...?" I croaked out. I can't believe she'd do this.

She sigh and bend down close to me. As I look into her eyes, I can see tears that threatend to fall.

She reached out her hands and touch my face.

"Jungkook-ah- I'm sorry!" she choked out as tears fell from her eyes.

I moved my head away harshly. She looked at me will pleading eyes. She shook her head.

"Jungkook no! Please, you have to understand!" she begged and wiped her tears which keeps on falling all over again.

I looked away.

"Then tell me.." I said demandingly, she stopped and look at me.

I look back at her.

"Tell me!!" I yelled. Tears fell. I can't hold it in anymore.

"Tell me... Lisa please. I need to understand! I'm lost...I don't-" I stopped and cried.

Lisa hugged me.

"Okay, I'll tell you." she let go and sat infront of me.

"So, remember when the house was lit on fire? When the chandelier was about to fall, I thought my life was gonna end there. But, turns out that I was pulled away before I could get hit by it. That person turned out to be my dad. I know! I said that he left. But he came back. My brother... He, ran away with his girlfriend. My dad was mad, so he went to go look for me knowing that my mom is well... You know, dead. But then inside the house, he offered me something. More like a threat. He said to go work for him or your life will come to an end. I was scared to think that you'll get hurt. In the end, before the house was completely burned down, well, except the studios, I agreed to the theat. My dad put a fake clone of me in the house so it will look like the real me He wanted to go make money. But he can't because your company destroyed his and over ruled it. He was mad so he wanted to take revenge on the next heir. Which was YOU." she explained.

"But, after this. You're gonna go to jail. Please... I don't want you to-"

"Jungkook-ah, I work with them. I managed to tell them what's going on and they helped me. So, rigt after this. I will not go to jail. And, I promise. I'll get you out of here." She smiled.

I nod.

"don't worry! Arin is safe." she said and gave me a peck on the forhead.

She stood up.

"I'll be back" and left.

So thats why she's here right now. Its because of the old man who she calls dad.

I sigh and rested my head on the wall.

A/n: Hey guys! This is just a short chapter. I'm so sorry! I will update soon! I was pretty tired because I had a long day. Anyway, as I said, this book is coming to an end. 😭😭. I will continue on the other book called "It was a mistake". Anyways, see you on the next chapter!
