(From philosophy)
I am a History major without a minor, and a pretty decent student. I am taking this class because philosophy is an interesting subject that I would like to learn more about. That, and all of the electives I wanted to take contradicted with my astronomy class. I like to learn about new things. History is one of the few subjects that continuously fascinates me, which is why I chose to major in it. I hope to stay in school until I get my doctorate so I can teach history at a four-year university.
I am a very eclectic person. I draw inspiration from many things and I am very creative. I am a lover of music, especially Yellowcard, and books and movies. I am a proficient Star Wars theorist, and my adoration for The Lord of the Rings knows no bounds. I am a sucker for the classics, The Outsiders and Pride and Prejudice being my favorite books. I am very determined when taking on small projects, and neither blood nor tears stop me from finishing something. I like to think I am very open-minded about everything.
I come from a rather large family. My mother and brother both just graduated college and my father works as a helicopter mechanic. I have cousins all over the country, but the ones I have the best relationship with live in California. I have a godcousin living a few hours away that I love very dearly. My family can be a bit much at times, especially for an introvert like me, but I love them all.
Being an introvert, talking can be very difficult for me. I write well, and can develop thoughts in a logical and coherent way, but those thoughts seem to be lost in translation on the way from my brain to my mouth. I am naturally very, very quiet.
