I write here in this journal as my other one has been lost. Today I went to the town center only to see a woman crying aloud about how she isn't a witch as the executioner started quoting passages of the Bible before lighting the wood beneath her aflame. I didn't even look away and I couldn't cancel out the words. The haunting she had yelled as the flames consumed her body. I went back to my house and saw my mother and sister not at the house at all. I thought they were in the market buying food.
So I began wandering around Salem and managed to see my good John Hastings as we both talked about the Execution that happened in the Town Square and we both expressed confusion as many more accusations of women being connected to Witchcraft were growing. Me and John had decided to find out the true mystery of why the women of Salem,Massachusetts were being accused and executed as Witchcraft in this situation was unlikely and impossible.
