It is so important for diversity to be addressed in fiction, but just as important to be a part of nonfiction. That is why I created this book. I want to share real, personal, nonfiction stories from Wattpad users about how diversity has affected them in their lives. This will be to start conversations about diversity and assure the Wattpad community that diversity is not a bad thing. It makes us human, it makes us different, and it makes us us. Now, to the details.

IF YOU ARE NOT OF A MINORITY GROUP:

No worries, to submit you don't have to be of a minority group diversity wise BUT you must write about an experience you had with someone of a minority group. This could be about how you met someone of a minority group and learned that a certain stereotype was untrue. Or about how you witnessed someone being treated differently because of their diversity.

IF YOU ARE OF A MINORITY GROUP:

If you are of a minority group, write about how this experience has affected you. This could be over a period of a hours or years. It could also be about an encounter you had with someone of a minority group if you do not want to write about yourself.

HOW TO SUBMIT:

1. PRIVATE MESSAGE: Submit your story by private messaging me. You can tell me whether you want to remain anonymous or not in the message.

2. EMAIL: Submit your story by emailing me at my email @earthianx@gmail.com. You can tell me whether you want to remain anonymous or not in the email.

RULES:

1. Your story must be under 350,000 words.

2. Your story cannot violate Wattpad's code of conduct.

3. Your story MUST deal with an aspect or aspects of diversity.

NOTE:

This campaign has the right to decide whether to post a story or not. If it violates Wattpad's code of conduct under no circumstances will it be published.

Lastly, I hope you all consider writing a little bit about diversity in fiction, nonfiction, or any other way. If you have any questions about this, please let me know in the comments.
