(Nobodies Point Of View)

Alphys noticeably stiffened, as Sans also paled.

"Can somebody please turn on a light so the great Papyrus can see?" Papyrus asks, sounding confident as if nothing has happened.

Sans smile falters, just a bit, while Alphys looks at Sans, unknowing of what to do.

"Sans? Brother is something wrong?" Papyrus asks, a tinge of worry in his voice.

"Oh..n-no bro, everything is fine." Sans lies, though he sounds extremely stressed, which Papyrus caught onto.

"Sans, what is wrong, why do you sound nervous, why is Alphys stuttering to herself, and why can't I see anything." Papyrus asks, his voice sounding curious but more worried.

Sans only notices now that Alphys has the most guilty look on her face, as she is at her computer, trying to find a way to reverse it.

In big red letters, the screen reads.

PERMANENT BLINDNESS

Sans' heart skips a beat, well, if he had one it would have.

Papyrus, not getting an answer, attempts to get up, failing as Sans catches him just in time.

Sans looks at Alphys, giving her the okay to tell him, since he himself doesn't know as much, and doesn't know what to say either.

"W-well, Papyrus...y-you were e-extremely i-ill, so w-w-we gave y-you a shot t-to, help your s-s-soul n-not, s-shatter." Alphys stutters.

Papyrus nods a bit, obviously wanting her to continue.

"W-well, a side effect, w-was... b-b-blindness." Alphys stutters very very quietly.

Papyrus is stunned for a moment, taking that information in, all he can manage to say is,

"What?"
