"What do you mean he's after the both of us?" I ask as I look at my mom
"He found out that Toxzon didn't get ahold of you guys and now he is going after you to get revenge for the other elementals." My mom says
I shake my head as I punch the wall next to me. Wind quickly moves away from where I punched the wall. I pull my knuckles back and look at the blood rushing to the cuts.
"Diana!" Max yells
"Sorry, needed to punch something that wasn't one of you guys." I say, walking to the kitchen, pulling some bandages out
"You two need to be more careful. I don't know if he would be able to find you guys by your power signature. And Wind and Steel should keep that hidden. But please just be extra careful." My mom says
"Alright. We'll limit our saving to the minimum." I say
My mom walks over to me and kisses my forehead. I hug her and take a deep breath.
"I'll see you guys later." She says "But I'm leaving some men in the apartment across from you and Max to watch over you guys."
"Whatever mom, me and Max will be careful." I say
She nods and walks out and disappears. I sigh as I finish wrapping my knuckles. Max looks at me and shakes his head.
"This is why I wonder if you need anger management classes." Wind says as she comes flying over
"I agree with you Wind, but it's her choice. And it makes me worry Diana." Max says as he stands up
"Whatever you idiot." I say, putting the bandages away
"So we aren't allowed use our powers that much." He says
"No, we can't. Well we can, just not that much." I say
He nods and walks over to my fridge and grabs an apple. I roll my eyes as he tosses me one.
"What are the plans for the rest of the day?" He asks
"Sit around and do nothing." I say
