Have you ever watched Kung Fu Panda? You know the part where Po gets the dragon scroll? It has nothing but but a shimmering mirror like surface on it.
At the time it doesn't make any sense to Po, he doesn't get it. But his father, the weird duck goose thing, decides to reveal the secret ingredient for his noodle soup. Nothing, just as in the noodle soup Po realises that he is the special ingredient. The one to defeat Shi Carn, the evil snow leopard.
Just as the special ingredient for the noodle soup is nothing, we need nothing for our lives to be complete. But we can't do it without our father, just as Po's dad explained to him the importance of believing in himself, our Heavenly Father does the same for us.
God shows us a mirror and says 'Look into the mirror. What do you see? Because what I see is a beautiful person who is perfect in their own way.' God tells us everyday how we are perfect to him and how we don't need to be anything but our real selves to be perfect. The question is, will you listen to him today?
