"Slowly..not too fast, sport." My dad's voice reassured me.

I lifted my mom into the air and placed her back down safely using only my mind. I was impressed. Not bad for an amateur, am I right!

Calmly, I took a deep breath in and closed my eyes. Opening them again I realized my time with my parents was up. I could already hear what was going on around my body and I knew I was waking up soon. I had learned to master all my powers, and was ready to take on Pitch and take my friends and sister back.

"Bye Mom, bye Dad." I said with eyes full of tears. "Goodbye, sweetheart. We love you so much. Take care and remember, we'll always be here for you. Always, just look to the moon, and we'll be there. Have no fear..."

CLaNg! CLaNg!

I jumped and shot my eyes wide open.

"What the-" I rubbed my neck and looked around.

I was in a cage similar to the one Jean was in except for some odd reason it was covered in sleets of ice, but I wasn't cold. I touched the bars and felt the cool ice. I stroked the bars up and down slowly with one hand then pulled it away and looked at my fingers. Black sand fell from my fingertips, I gritted my teeth a bit before scoffing.

"Come out, pretty boy. I know you're here, you're not very good at being quiet." I called rolling my eyes.

There was a small swoosh before the Winter Spirit himself landed directly in front of my cage, facing me. He looked up slowly and raised an eyebrow. His dark eyes met my (e/c) ones and he smirked. He picked up his head and leaned into the cage.

"Smart mouth, huh?" The words rolled off his tongue, making their way into my ears.

"Maybe I am, but what are YOU gonna do about it?" I asked crossing my arms and locking my hips.

"You're gonna-"

I stepped forward a bit.

"-lock me in a cage? Take away my family? My friends?"
Sarcasm seeping from my voice.

"Oh wait a second, you ALREADY DID! So what's the worst you could possibly do?" I exclaimed shaking the bars in the cage, then backing away. Almost mocking him that he could see me, but can't touch me.

He chuckled softly and my heart skipped a beat. I hate when my heart does these things. I mean c'mon, the guy is evil and all I can think about is his...beautiful, icy, white hair and gorgeous blue eyes...'off topic (y/n) focus!'

"Ah, so you are a firey one aren't you. Too bad Pitch needs you to gain his powers then get rid of you, otherwise you would've made an excellent little treat." He looked at me up and down licking his icy lips.

I growled. "I am NOT your treat!! You view me as some sort of prize, but I am much more than that. I am the daughter of two very powerful people-"

My eyes began to turn (color) and my fists began to spark.

"and I will NOT stand to be treated like I'm NOTHING!" I yelled

I gripped the thick metal bars and they burst at my touch. Electricity pulsing through me, I break free and look around to see Jean in one of the cages. I shoot a blast of engery to the cage causing the bars to break and her cage to shake.

"Jean!" I cried out. "We need to leave ASAP-"

A cold wind rushed by and flung me backwards. I shuffled my feet to keep me from falling back.

Jack had grabbed me from behind and was covering my mouth with his hands slowly freezing it shut.

I leaned backward and kicked the soft spot behind his knee really hard, which caused him to fall back taking me down with him.

He gripped my arm and kept me from standing up. I kicked him in the stomach, so I could by myself some time. I took off running in the direction towards Jean and began unzipping the pouch from my waist.

Removing its contents, I pulled out the peices of Jack's Staff.

Jean used her levitation power to exit the cage and float her way down towards me just in time to stop a VERY angry Jack from freezing me into a human Popsicle.

"Let me go! Go back into your cell!!!" Jack yelled, struggling to escape my sister's telepathic grasp.

"Not a chance, Jack! Not you're normal again will I let you go!" Jean then turned in my direction and in a completely less threatening and more, HURRY THE HECK UP, kinda voice. Told me to change him back.

I thought for a moment, then realized what I had to do.

"Breathe (y/n). You got this." I thought to myself.

I took a step towards the struggling Jack and gently rested my hand on his arm. He tried shaking me off, but failed.

I took a deep breath then exhaled.
My body began to softly shake then my eyes shoot open...

°°NARRATOR'S POV°°

You rested a hand on Jack, taking a breath in then releasing. You began to emit a golden light. The light grew and grew until you couldn't control it anymore. Shooting your eyes open, the light flew in every direction polishing everything in its path with its bright light, destroying every bit of darkness.

The light even reaching so far, as destroying the Nightmares and freeing the rest of the Guardians from their endless fight. Unknowning to Pitch, who was busy feasting on children's bad dreams to realize what had happened.

You collapsed to the floor and began to badly cough. Jean dropped Jack to the floor, and ran towards you.

"You alright, sis?"

You nodded and crawled towards Jack with the pieces of his staff in your hands. He struggled to sit-up, but you helped him. He winced when you touched him, but he didn't move away.

"Jack, listen to me." You said to him softly.

"(Y/n), wait no! (Y/n)!! Get back!" Jean yelled afraid you might get hurt. You stayed put and ignored Jean's continued cries, because you knew exactly what you were doing.

Jack looked up and once again pitch black eyes met your own. You kept a grip on him sending soft waves of electricity through him so his muscles would not move, keeping him in place. He gritted his teeth and refused to listen to anything you had to say.

"Jack, I know you're in there. I know you're listening, I need you to know something. Something I've been keeping from you. Please let me in." You spoke calmly almost reassuringly.

"N-no! Stay out of my head!" He stuttered, speaking weakly. You reached for his head.
"Let me in...."

"(Y/n)?"

"Jack?"

"(Y/N)!!!"

"Jack?!"

"Help me..." His voice cracked.
