2 months later....Chris
I pulled off my headphones as he stopped the track.
“What you doing man?”
“I think I wanna add something to that beat.“
I took off the headphones and walked out the door to see Rafi (Carlos) messing around with the mixboard. I bumped my head as I listened to what he was making.
“Ayo that's dope.”
“I'll start the track over and add the new piece. ” I nodded and put the headphones back on as I heard the music begin to play.
“VVS Patek all in my wrist watch
Got it jump, jumpin' like I'm Kriss Kross
She gon' bring her girl, let 'em Kriss Kross
Drippin' water, I forgot to turn my wrist off.”He cut the track and I hopped off the stool.
“Yo where you trying go in such a hurry.'” I took a drink of water and pulled out my phone as he spoke.
“Who said I was in a hurry?”
“Nigga I know yo ways.”
He laughed and scratched the back of his neck. “My sister's throwing a party later so I have to help her set up.”
“Oh Tia?”
“Tia isn't my sister, I'm talking bout Lay.” He said a bit hesitantly.
It was almost like he didn't want to tell me about her. “Have I seen her?”
“Once or twice. Alright I'm out one.” We dapped and he grabbed his jacket.
Why does ole girls name sound familiar.
“Aye Rafi Imma swing by yo crib later.”
“Why?”
“For the party nigga.”
“Oh, alright. What you bout to get in too?”
“Shit, this girl. Imma catch you later tho.”
He chuckled as I slid down the hallway. I needed something else to do.
That evening...
I was sitting in my hotel room bored as ever when T started pounding the shit out my door.
“Nigga open the door and stop banging on shit like you the feds.”
He walked in laughing heading straight for my fridge.
“Ay I'm bout to head to Tia house. She's throwing a pool party. You coming or what?” He pulled out a beer and knocked the top off on the counter.
“I might swing by. I don't know her address.”
“Aye do you know Rafi's sister Lay?”
“Oh yeah. The party at her house. I rock wit them, everybody over there is cool people.”Tyga said.
I rose out the bed and started pulling off my clothes putting on a shirt from Black pyramid.
“Alright I'll ride which you then. What they look like?” I threw on some black true religion jeans and a Jesus piece.
“She don't mess around wit niggas in da game but all the females over there bad as hell. They crazy as shit too so, good luck.”
I raised my eyebrows. Good luck? What's that supposed to mean.
