One night Chance texted me and said he needed to see me so I asked him did he want me to meet him somewhere. He said "no I'll just come over there" I stayed up waiting and he finally made it. I asked him what was wrong but he didn't answer. I waited a few minutes to ask again this time he was just focusing on the tv so I didn't say anything. He turned to me and said "Alana I've had so much fun with you this last month. You are so beautiful and smart. I get nervous thinking about this. I like you and I want you to be mine but I don't know how you feel about me. I was so speechless. I said honestly Chancelor I didn't know you felt like that but- He cut me off and said "I'm sorry if I made our friendship complicated I just couldn't hold this in anymore". I said no you didn't I was going to say I was happy you finally said something. I felt like you did like me but I kept brushing it off. I like you too. I just don't want my age to mess anything up for you. If you want to lay low about us that's fine with me. He let me know that keeping me secret was an absolute negative. He wanted to show me off to everyone. We finished catching up on the magicians and I fell asleep on the couch. All I remember is waking up in my bed the next morning. I texted Chance.
