Looking around, you couldn't help but let a few tears fall. Your second home was being destroyed and you didn't know where your best friend was. The war was almost over and the death eaters had an advantage over the light side, more people. Turning around, you held up your wand and shouted multiple spells at the death eaters trying to kill your classmates.
Running, you saw Ron and Hermione. "Ron! Hermione!" You called out, making them turn around. Hugging them tightly, you pulled apart. "Where's Harry?" You questioned as tears continued to slowly trail down your cheeks. "(Y/n), he's heading for the forest." Your (y/e/c) eyes widened in shock and fear. "He did WHAT?" you shouted. Ron nodded solemly as he hugged Hermione who was shaking slightly.
Glaring, you turned around and ran, ignoring their yells and avoiding spells being thrown at you. Your (y/h/c) hair was blowing behind you as you ran, some of it matted to your face with blood. Soon, you saw a familiar face and hair. "HARRY JAMES POTTER!" You yelled, catching his attention as he turned around with wide eyes. Running, you jumped on him, hugging him tightly. "Harry, why are you leaving? You're going to get killed! Don't face Voldemort!" You cried out as you hugged him, his arms holding you in a strong grip as he ran his hands through your tangled hair.
"(Y/n), I have to. If I don't, more people will die. Promise me one thing." You pulled back and nodded, tears coming faster out of your eyes. "You'll stay with me? When I get back? No matter what happens, you'll stay? I won't leave you." Your eyes widened before they began leaking more tears and became glossy. "Yes, I Swear." You whispered before hugging him tightly. "Good, now head back to the castle and hide. Help out if you need to but GO!" Nodding, you gave one last hug before running off towards the castle, leaving your best friend to head off to meet Voldemort.

You screamed, louder than you ever had before. "HARRY! NO!" You cried out as you tried to run forward but got held back by George, your other best friend who had tear stains on his cheeks from losing his twin brother from an explosion earlier. You sobbed as you finally let George pull you into a hug, not wanting anyone else to see your tears. "Yes! Harry Potter is dead!" The death eaters laughed before there was arguing between Neville and Voldemort and suddenly, something shocking happened. Harry rolled out of Hagrids' arms and shot a spell at Voldemort before running off with him hot on his tail.

The war had been won. The light side gave it's all and it paid off. Walking outside with Harry, Ron, and Hermione, you latched onto Harry like a leech. "I hate you" you whispered to which he raised an eyebrow as he wrapped an arm around you. "And why is that (y/n)?" You glared before shoving him slightly. "You almost left me. And you promised you wouldn't." Laughing lightly, he pulled you back into a hug as Ron and Hermione shook their heads before walking ahead. "I'm here aren't I?" Rolling your eyes, you smiled. "I'll forever be grateful of you being my best friend." He chuckled as he rested his chin on top of your head. Kissing your forehead in a brotherly and friendly way, he stated "As am I, (y/n). As am I."
