Chapter Seven

Looking towards his watch, Clark stood impatiently in front of the pack doctors door as he held Zack's curled body against his.

Knocking one again, he was met with a muffled "Slow down" from behind the door.

With a click the door was finally opened which Clark rushed in and settled Zack onto the nearest couch.

"Alpha, what brings you here this late?" Erdwin the Pack doctor spoke as he watched the Alpha set down a young boy onto the living room sofa.

"Erdwin I need you to check what's wrong with Zack, I-. We-."

"Slow down Alpha, Just take a deep breath. From here you could tell that the young lad just passed out" Erdwin said informing the Alpha.

It was one of those moments where Erdwin always had the same events that included someone being over worried due to their love ones passing out. With the view in front of him, Erdwin could only tell what the young lad meant to the Alpha.

"Please Erdwin, what if the problem isn't that? Oh god, is he going to die?!" Clark said covering his mouth as he could feel the tears edging.

Scoffing, Erdwin pushed the Alpha out of the way before checking the young lads pulse.

"I'm sure he will be fine, just let me get a pack of ice. Be right back"

Sitting on the ground near Zack, Clark gently moved a piece of hair away from Zack's eyes before whispering the things he wanted to tell Zack under the tree.

"There's a reason why I visited you last time and asked you to meet me under the Tree. You see, when I first saw you I knew at that exact moment you were mine. I could tell by your heartbeat and eyes. It felt like dream as if it wasn't real. I just wanted to tell you that you're my m-"

"Excuse me Alpha, if you may allow Me to out the ice onto Zack" Erdwin spoke cutting off Clark before pressing the ice pack onto Zack's forehead.

"I recommend staying right next to him in case he wakes up due to the headache he will occur from passing out" Erdwin said passing over a pill.

Nodding his head, Clark took the pill as he watched Erdwin walk back towards the kitchen.

Taking out his phone he dialed the pack house number waiting for an answer.

"Y-yes Alpha?"

"Maria I won't be back till tomorrow, could you make breakfast early tomorrow?"

"Of course Alpha, any other request? " Maria asked.

"Just be sure not to destroy the house while you're at it with Alex"

"Of c-course sir" Maria replied, Clark could imagine her blush from her as she said that before he smiled to himself. She was finally happy.

"I'll see you tomorrow Maria, goodnight " Clark stated as he shut his phone.

Maria has been there for him since he was a pup. Working for his father as well, Clark grew up raised by Maria and thought by Maria.

She came from an old pack that was attacked by rouges, while searching through the woods his father found her, which indicated to bring her home to be a servant and omega of the pack.

It wasn't the best job but Maria accepted to start life over again.

Hearing old stories from her pack, Clark could only imagine what it felt like to be whipped for no reason.

After 20 years of of her life, Clark could finally look at Maria smiling once again.

She finally met the one. Her Mate.

Clark felt the same thing with Zack, except that he wanted it to be under the tree his mother and father confessed their true feelings.

He just hoped when Zack wakes up, he could finally confess his weakness and feelings to his Mate.
