5. Decorating

Baekhyun wake up at 7 straight. He feels super excited today. Wake up with a smile on his face, opening his curtains and also the windows, stepping towards his bathroom to brush his teeth but suddenly he remember something.

Chanyeol joined for Luhan's surprise.

His shoulder gradually falling down and his cheerful face turn into the dark one.

It was perfect until he show up! Shit! Baekhyun curses on his mind and seconds later he hears a loud thud from downstairs.

He clicks his tongue and quickly finish his activity before going downstairs to the source of the voice.

And it was Chanyeol dropping a stainless bowl in the kitchen.

"I'm sorry, hyung. Did I wake you up?"

Baekhyun rolls his eyes, "No."

Chanyeol smiles before puts the pancakes on the plate and place it on the table.

Baekhyun sits before enjoys the pancakes that Chanyeol made.

It was very delicious, he nods and said mentally. He never give compliment to the boy. And he thinks that's unnecessary so he just kept it for himself.

After finish the pancakes, Baekhyun quickly wash the plate and go upstairs to do something that might kill the times to wait until 6 pm.

It was 5pm when Baekhyun is looking to the mirror in front of him. He just wear a simple t-shirt and jeans, plus the sneakers. Today they'll just going to decorate so he just put something simple.

And suddenly he hears a knock on his bedroom's door.

"What?" He know it was Chanyeol so he just talk like that.

Chanyeol opens the door slowly and his head popped out. "Are you ready, hyung?"

He finally fully open the door and same as Baekhyun, he also ready.

"Why did you ask me?" Baekhyun asks, feeling annoyed.

Chanyeol rubs the back of his neck, "I.. Think I will drive. Because we're going to the same place, I think we just need one car.."

Baekhyun thinks for a while. It's actually right. You're in one house, you go to the same place and same time, and you still using your own cars.. It just feel weird and stupid. Why don't you just go together, right? It also save the gas, right?

"We use mine." Baekhyun states, finally. He decided just to drive because there's no way he will just sit on the passenger seat while Chanyeol is driving. Ew, no.

Chanyeol looks at him hesitantly, "Are you sure it's okay, hyung?"

Baekhyun nods.

Chanyeol smiles, "Okay then." He closes Baekhyun's door and decided just to wait downstairs.

Baekhyun sighs before once again looks into his reflection and brush his hair before going out and lock everything with the help of Chanyeol.

After finish, Chanyeol locks the gate before enter Baekhyun's car and sits on the passenger's seat, then put on his seatbelt.

The cake is still in their refrigerator and they'll take it tomorrow because the surprise is tomorrow.

Baekhyun drives quite fast. Within 20 minutes, they arrive at the Gangwon Mall.

Kyungsoo, Jongin, and Sehun already at the rooftop and they actually already blow some balloons with the air pump.

"Are we late?" Chanyeol asks when the 3 of them looks at them.
