*Cassandra's Point of View*

Loki was led away from the rest of the group with armed guards surrounding him. I followed them as Lady Romanoff led the other boys into another room. They shut Loki into a cage and Mister Fury started talking. To be completely honest, I was not paying any attention to the banter between my younger brother and the director of SHIELD. I was lost in my own thoughts, until I saw Fury angrily walking away.

"Cassy how could you work with these people? They are so small minded," Loki said with an exasperated sigh. I looked at him my face expresionless.

"You do not even know how their minds work Loki," I said subconsciously going into his cell.

"Oh and you do?"

"I never said I did, but I did say you didn't. There is a difference brother," I said sitting down on the floor across from him like when we were little children. He merely nodded.

"Brother," I cautiously asked drawing his attention, "on the mountain you said that they would kill you if you didn't do this. Who is they?"

"The leaders of the Chitauri," he answered coming over and laying his head in my lap. I looked down at him. It was so unnerving that almost a year ago everything was normal. We were not a very happy family, but we were a family nonetheless. But I believed something that not very many in Asguard believed. My family doesn't end in blood.

"Loki."

"Hmmm?"

"I just want you to know that no matter what happens...no matter what you say or do... no matter how much you push me away you will always be my brother," I smiled sadly down at him. He sent the same smile back.

"Hey Cassie," he asked

"Hmm," I answered.

"Do you remember that lullaby Mother used to sing," he asked.

"Yes, Why?"

"Sing it for me," he suggested.

"Flower gleam and glow.

Let your powers shine.

Make the clock reverse.

Bring back what once was mine.

Heal what has been hurt.

Change the fates design.

Save what has been lost bring back what once was mine.

What once was mine." I sang. I looked down and he had fallen asleep. Loki looked so much younger when he slept. I smiled and kissed his forhead. I had what felt like an electric shock course through my body. Suddenly I felt like my whole body was freezing from the inside to the out, but I had never been one to be bothered by the cold. I gently laid his head down on the floor and walked out of his cell. I walked out and saw an agent known as Coulson standing there.

"You have a lovely voice your majesty, " he complimented me.

"Oh please Cassandra Agent Coulson," I answered brushing away the praise.

"So, you're the middle child in your family," he made conversation as we were heading to where Thor was.

"Yes I am, believe me when I tell you this, Loki and Thor were not like how you Midgardians have come to know them," I told him.

"I can imagine," he replied.

"We were like any siblings. We had the most outrageous games, that we had made up. The boys were always fighting to protect the fair princess from the frost giants. Then there was the king for the day, where our father let them be king for a day and they got to rule Asgard," I smiled fondly at the memories.
