Hello, it's Ink... um hi. I'm here to teach you how to do expressions! umm cartoon or anime or in art graphic art, expressions are important! And need to be exaggerated.
So I'm here to teach exaggeration. So um... yeah

This is a bland, happy, expression.
It is not exaggerated

You'll need to squish the head to be more exaggerated.

Squish the head when you draw smiling. And everything needs to be squished, like the eyes and mouth close together. But if you don't want that, that's you and your style.

What you need to do it stretch.

well this is screaming... um but for a gasp make a smaller mouth

Shoulders are also very important.
When you draw happy expressions shoulders go up. And for crying and for fear and nervous. . This is for your style, so if you don't want to use this it's okay! It's not like proportions :,)
