Chapter 3- Disappeared

The Boss had a new mission for me one day. He had summoned me and growled at me," Scorpion Agent 103, I have a new mission for you. Be sure to do it well, and you shall be rewarded. Oh, and I have a little surprise for you, when you return. Please make sure you do not repeat the mistake you have made so long ago..."

The Boss words rang in my head. "Please make sure you do not repeat the mistake you have made so long ago..." It sounded almost as if he knew that I was former Scorpion Agent 97. I shifted that thought aside and concentrated on my mission. First, I got into my custom made suit. It was filled with all kinds of high-tech devices concealed under the suit. It was very light. Next, I armed myself with a few  weapons, including a pistol and a M-16. Finally, I approached my team and gave them a briefing as I was to lead this team. "This mission is an A rank mission. I don not accept any failures at all. Understand?"

My team consisted of four people- me, the leader, Jack, a strong man in charge of heavy weaponed firing, Ripbed, the driver, and Hudson, a quiet, petite guy. Together, the four of us bundled into the car and Ripbed drove off.  Half an hour later, I began to find that something was amidst. We were supposed to be in the city and yet, Ripbed had drove out of the city into the desert. As soon as I opened my mouth to question him, Jack slammed one of his muscular arms into my chest.

My fighting instincts kicked in. I retaliated with an uppercut to Jack's jaw and he groaned. Ripbed slammed on the brakes and smashed out two of my teeth with his sturdy fist. Jack recovered and threw me out of the car. Ripbed and Jack got out of the car and started dealing blows to me. I tried my best to defend, but two trained strong men against one was not really fair. I kicked out and managed to hit Ripbed's sensitive part. 

Taking advantage of the pain Ripbed was going through, I decided to take Jack sown first. I flung myself onto him and held him in a choke hold. By looks of it, I had ten seconds left before Ripbed started to rip me apart. I made use of the time to fling Jack over my head and right into Ripbed's chest. Ripbed went down, but Jack was still conscious. He got up and started wrestling with me. He gave a solid punch to my gut which knocked the wind out of me. I brought my fist down hard on his head and he tumbled down onto the sand. 

I took out my pistol and was about to shoot Ripbed and Jack when Hudson got hold of my hand amd twisted it, making me drop the weapon. He landed a kick into my chest and I flew backwards, dazed. He said," They may have tried to kill you, but it was the Boss's orders. Don't kill them. Just leave them to be in the desert. The Boss sent me to relay a message to you- Scorpion Agent 97, you and your family will be exterminated." I immediately jumped into the jeep and drove towards my home, leaving Hudson with Jack and Ripbed. When I reached my apartment, it was just as I feared. My wife and my daughter had disappeared. The Boss had taken them.
